New Cairo Heart

Stayed in New Cairo Heart because our original booking fell through. We had a confirmed booking with Wassim Boutique but were told when we reached that there was no vacancy. The receptionist said she would arrange another hotel of similar quality at the same price for us. When we were taken to the new hotel, New Cairo Heart Hotel, they wanted to charge us the same rate as for Wassim Boutique. But this was twice the rate on ***********! Cairo Heart refused to allow us to use *********** to book rooms unless we paid 200 LE to Wassim Boutique. Seems like a scam involving the 2 hotels. The hotel room itself was ok for the price except the bathroom literally flooded after a taking shower. Half an inch of water pooled at the door. One of the receptionists there, Ahmed, was a decent,helpful person.
