Hotel Castillos de Cafayate

The location of the Hotel is unbeatable, 2 km away from the road to salta, 20 min out of cafayate. We arrived mid afternoon for a 1 night stay after a couple of days in cafayate. The room was comfy with a big window overlooking the scenery. Cows in wetland grass against the mountains gives you the feeling of a place like no other. We spend 2 hours at the pool ( towels are available at reception) and walked 10 min further down the track to Bodega, another little wine-hotel. At 6pm they offered a guided winetasting which was nice, but lost too long almost 2 hours so we lost the best hour of the day, the sundown. Anyway, upon return we asked for a bottle of wine to enjoy the view towards the mountain as kind of happy hour. Its time to point it out; The hotel does Not offer any kind of atmosphaere snd even making money by consumption caused by the staff. Either they are fed up with service or gate to work at „pampa“ but the lack of service is disgusting. I dont mind they are rude its judt they dont care and have no idea to bring the gem of hotel they are working to glitter. In my opinion they need a manager on duty who has knowledge of hospitality. For example at a place like that you welcome guest with a brief info about what to do, maybe suggestion for the dish of the day and of course a happy hour served in the georgeous lobby when the sun gets down. The area where the restaurant is set up looks like a canteen. Cheap tables are stocked with chairs which dont suit the design. The service is just order and dont bother us. No revommendations, cheese board or whatsoever to touch your palate and eyes. Another fall from the stars, the breakfast! Uninspired, boring tasteless. I mean yes there is coffee and bread & a toaster and prepacked jam…. Nothing that reflects local threats nor is it nicely decorated. Check is as check inn, no word spoken no farewell given. What a shame for a place that could turn into a diamond.

Servicio muy bueno, el hotel cumple muy bien, se encuentra en lugar paradisiaco, la comida es excelente . asi que en esumidas cuentas tuvimos una muy buena y placentera estadia con mi sra. Sin duda volveria sin pensarlo dos veces

A FAVOR: Si buscas un finde de relax, este es el lugar indicado. Muy buen desayuno. Hermosa vista. Habitaciones cómodas. Tremenda pileta. Tiene 2 lagunas con peces y patos y 1 flamenco tbn. Puedes andar en bote, remandolo vos mismo. Comida acorde al precio. Visita a bodega en hotel boutique de al lado EN CONTRA: La carta del restaurante podría tener mas platos. No hay señal de 4G de ninguna compañía telefónica. Esta a 20km del centro y hay q entrar 2km por camino de ripio Obvio que regresaría nuevamente

Excelente en todo los sentidos, el hotel está ubicado en lugar increíble, las habitaciones tienen una vista panorámica, la atención excelente. La comida variada y exquisitas, la limpieza es impecable.

¡Hermoso hotel! Increíbles las vistas desde la habitación. Muy buena atención y la comida del restaurante muy rica y elaborada. Habitaciones grandes. Hay una laguna muy linda llena de patos y peces y pileta para el verano. Esta a 15 minutos del centro de cafayate.

Excelente estadía en los castillos! Buena comida, limpio, confortable. Vistas inmejorables. Y la atención de Andrés por sobre todo muy amable. Sin duda para recomendar. No lo duden que vale la pena!

.Esta es mi segunda vez que para y .volveria sin dudarlo ..La ubicación es increíble y la atención es muy buena .. Lo recomende a amigos y todos quedaron mu satisfechos , el unico problema es la mala señal de internet

El hotel es muy lindo. La habitación comoda. Falta calefaccion, en la habitación solo un Split, tuvimos que pedir un caloventor. Los espacios comunes una salamandra que casi no prendieron, tuvimos que estar con campera adentro del hotel para desayunar. Restaurante flojo, muy pocas opciones y encima se quedaron sin la mitad de la carta (no tenian pastas ni hamburguesas). Pedimos pizza, una ensalada, empanadas, sanguche de lomito y merluza con verduras. La pizza tenia la masa cruda, y el queso no era muzzarella, la ensalada muy chica (era la única opción vegetariana), la merluza bien, el sanguche de lomito bien. Las empanadas muy buenas. Muy caro en relación calidad precio. La atencion del personal podria mejorar, ser mas cálidos con los huéspedes. Wifi flojito. El desayuno bien. No creo que vuelva.
