This resort is very nice and well placed for cable beach restaurants and bus services. Very spacious apartment, however the cleaning could have had more attention. The apartment was very tired and needs refreshing but I appreciate the new owners have only been in charge for 4 months. So hopefully this will happen in time. The only issue is the complimentary tea/coffee etc. No milk provided and it was not explained that if you wanted more it was chargeable. As a suggestion, either not provide and make it known that you need to bring your own including toilet rolls or charge an extra $10 for these provisions and replenish when required or charge accordingly, but make it known upon check in. The general store is rather expensive and does not provide these items in small quantities. However my review would not stop me from staying there in the future. An overall enjoyable stay, good luck to the new owners for the future.

A delightful 2 night stay, grounds and pool are really lovely as was our apartment. Having a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer in the apartment was a bonus, well equipped, including a good sized TV, microwave and all kitchen utensils. Clean, friendly and close to the beach and restaurants/cafes. Very comfortable, will be back 😄

Elliot the owner was really pleasant and helpful with where to go and what to see the best restaurants and even the quieter places for a bit of a relax the tourist maps and bus timetable are really well setout and easy to follow getting around is easy .The bus stop is about 100 meters away just outside the Divers Tavern I stayed for a week and had the time of my life the resort was clean and tidy so close to Cable Beach and Divers Tavern, Cable Beach General store is like a mini supermarket but does meals and really good coffee and has mini golf out the back . My suite was really great it had fans as well as aircon, the bed was comfortable , full size fridge, washer, dryer, dish washer, TV had more channels than I get at home in the east, my own private patio. the staff are friendly and helpful

Do yourself a favour and book elsewhere!! This place is very overpriced and very overrated. Reception staff rude and unhelpful when you have a problem . I reported a bed that moved away from the wall when I sat down , having just had major back surgery ( spinal fusion) I was worried I would fall if I sat down and bed moved from under me so had to put a chair between the beds and a table jammed against the end of the bed to stop it moving . 3 days later the morning we were leaving the handy man arrived with coasters to put under the legs The reception staff Never say they are sorry or they could have helped more just a “oh it mustn’t have been picked up by the maintenance staff.” Restaurants very over priced for what you get . Dark dingy rooms with no robes or slippers which you would expect at nearly $600 a night !! definitely not A 5 Star Resort would say more like a 3 but paying well over what it is worth . Never again Broome and Cable Beach resort you were a huge disappointment.

This place is a dump. The promoting pics must have been taken a decade ago. .As soon as we walked across the shabby thresh hold and saw the peeling paint and smelt the mould we knew that the place had been over rated. The overall lack of cleanliness especially the floors meant you couldnt walk around without shoes . The towels and bed covers were shabby and smelt. Handle fell off hot water tap whilst I was running hot water in kitchen. Then there were the flies . Big gap under back door fly screen had to be stuffed with a towel. tiny shower water ran out to bathroom door soaking bathmat etc, however good hot water. the placee needs a good clean, greasy br 3 blocked with a towel. Pillows were well past their use by date . The first time the undersized shower was used it flooded right out to the bathroom door. Lime scale and corrosion covers the bathroom fittings . This place needs a really good clean. Good hot water and wa.ter pressure. TR T ED. (

In desperate need of renovation. Rooms were not clean and TV broken. The gardens however are well maintained and quite beautiful. It is quiet though with a bus stop nearby for easy access to the town. Staff are friendly and helpful. Expensive for what it is.
