Bandipur Samira Homestay & Mountain View Restaurant

Samira Homestay in Bandipur is located in a perfect location to be close to the pedestrian only market area, as well as set out on the day hike attractions. I think this location is superior to the other locations I saw which were harder to get to and likely noisier at night. The hosts at Samira went an extra step for me when I accidentally left my journal in the dining room and did not realize it until I had reached Kathmandu. I contacted Samira and they worked out finding another guest who would be traveling to Kathmandu the next day and could bring me my journal. For that I am extremely grateful. Bandipur in general was a bit busier than I expected, and I prefer a calmer center of town, with quieter nights. However, the day hikes I did, one to Ramkot and one to the Sidda Cave, were very worthwhile, and made up for the less inspiring town center.

The best one! amazing place! Good position and view, but is very special the host and his family are super welcoming, kind, and friendly. A little Nepali room, very clean. For the dinner and the breakfast all the things are super super good, Any request for a dish is fulfilled and everything is really well done, and the venings with them are a lot of fun. Absolutely to Try see ya soon

Samira Homestay in Bandipur is an excellent guest house, with cozy little rooms with private bathroom. We enjoyed a welcoming harm treatment by the owners, and help with booking our next trip by bus. I truly recommend this guesthouse which is located just close to the bus stop and at the entrance of Bandipur pedestrian area.

They're one of the few places that can be found online and compared to the very expensive high-end hotels listed their prices seemed reasonable. Then I saw my room- I was shown into a downstairs room that had nothing but 2 cots and a lightbulb. there was a small window covered with thick aluminum bars that could only be looked through by getting on my knees on one of the cots. The bathroom was down a long hallway outside. Bandipur is one of the loveliest settings I have ever experienced, with stunning views from almost every hotel and restaurant. Just a ways into the bazar, is Newa Hotel where I found a room comparable in size and basics, only it had 2 wooden doors that opened on to a gorgeous view. And it was less than half the price of Samira. I ended up at Sanskaar Hotel with a lovely room with stone floors, a huge picture window on one side of the room, and double wooden doors that opened onto my own balcony overlooking the stunning valley. Just outside my door was my own private, modern bathroom And this cost me less than the horrid room at Samira's. Samira's upstairs rooms open onto a balcony and are probably not a bad choice. But there's absolutely no reason to pay a huge price for a crummy room in a town where you can do so much better for less money

Arrived today and asked for a room, was happy with price and room so booked two nights... come back to homestay 2 hours after checking in only to find owners daughter standing at our door asking us to leave because she has overbooked.. Asked if she could find another place for us which she did at a higher price (her sisters place) asked if they could compensate the price considering the overbooking wasn't our fault, no luck. Overall very bad hospitality experience and if this is anything on how the rest of the stay would have been then I'm glad we didn't stay !

A familyrun small hotel in the centre of the small village Bandipur. It's not a luxury hotel but it's small and warmhearted. A very helpful staff. We had a fantastic view from our little window. They also offer good food if you tell them in the morning at breakfast.
