앤티크 로지 모텔(Clyde Central)

My father and I were cycling from Cromwell to Waihola and chose Clyde Central as our place to stay the first night of the trip. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, the beds comfortable and the communication from "Fizz" our host was exemplary. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the location and the convenience for access to the cycle trail, the local 4-Square grocery store and the local hostelries for food and refreshment. An added bonus was secure garage accommodation for the bikes. I shall happily book again when I am next staying in Clyde.

Fiz has a great motel where we could leave our car and a garage to store our bikes when we weren’t riding. The rooms clean and really adequate for us all on our rides over a number of days. Fiz was fabulous to communicate with. She offered suggestions for our bike ride and local restaurants to visit. A great place to stay.

Excellent accommodation! We were 6 couples on a biking trip, and we couldn't have wished for a better place to stay. Walking distance to everything. Very clean, comfy beds and well equipped. Garage was fantastic to park our bikes in each night. Loved our stay and would definitely recommend. Thank you so much.

Perfectly clean organized and well situated motels in a delightful village. Walking distance to a range of delicious eateries and entertainments (movie theatre). Easy check in and out. Great parking for vehicles and bike shed, laundry etc available...well priced

This place is quite old but it's been very well renovated. Our unit was very clean and espacially roomy with separate Bedroom, Kitchen, Dining, Bathroom and toilet. Decent wifi was included. It's ideal for Cycle Trail riders. We will be back.

We picked this accommodation as we were riding the Otago Rail Trail leaving from Clyde. This motel is 2 min walk to where our tour started and 2 mins to town and 30 seconds to a very well stocked 4 Square (with very helpful staff - They had everything we needed) so this motel is very well situated. Rooms were clean and tidy with kitchenette so you can make your own food, although breakfast can be provided on site. Amble room for parking, bike storage facility, laundry and friendly staff. Reasonably priced.

Loved the relaxed cruisey vibe of this motel, and the cutest friendliest motel doggos ever! Units are not the most modern ever, but are updated nicely with everything you need - having an oven was great. Everything was spotless and the shower had great pressure. We appreciated not having staff intruding to service the unit but felt we could ask for anything we needed anytime. Fizz was very accommodating and had great suggestions for walks and rides. The outdoor area was perfect for our group of 3 families to congregate in and the weber BBQ for use was an great extra. Ideally located a block away from cafes, shops and the river.

Our family visited Clyde in January 2023. From this base we easily visited Arrowtown and Queenstown for a day and on the way back to Clyde we took a tour of the Goldfields Mining Centre and learned about the hard lives of those early miners . We loved our lunch at Chatto Creek and exploring the nearby town of Alexander . Our motel was very central for our activities and had everything we needed plus laundry facilities . Would certainly stay there agin.

Great accommodation! We had a 2 bedroom unit and it was perfect for our family of 4. Great location and very clean! The secure bike storage was very handy. Very easy to walk to the Clyde cafes and not far from the river. Would definitely stay again!
