We stayed in the Portbradden Room for one night and found it quite comfortable. The room featured a king-size bed, a dressing table, and an en suite bathroom. Amenities included a small flat-screen TV, tea and coffee making facilities, a small fridge, a room safe, and an ironing board. Bathroom was clean and modern and toiletries were provided. Although we didn’t use it, there was a hot tub available outside. The addition of dressing gowns and slippers was a thoughtful touch. The complimentary Wi-Fi worked well throughout our stay. Breakfast—both continental and full cooked options—was included in the room rate and was very tasty. The only negative were some cobwebs in the room.

It was a great experience, we were in a complete apartment, a perfectly equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms, TV, wifi, a full bathroom. We were next to the gym and the jacuzzi. The area and the view are spectacular, very safe. Very complete breakfast.

We were promised a double king bed and a sea view. The bed was about the size of a full sized (double) bed in the US. The room had no sea view as promised. If you wanted to see the sea you would have to get on the roof with binoculars. The breakfast was delicious!

the owners take great pride in their hospitality and it shows Milk, water and coffee in room . Lovely bathrobes and slippers for the hot tub . Large room and bathroom . excellent breakfast offerings ..Highly recommend

The Causeway Lodge is a cute and charming B&B in a great location. We enjoyed our time there, but sadly we were double-charged by the owner for our stay. We had prepaid for our stay, but the owner insisted we need to pay in person when we checked out. She claimed she had not received payment from the booking platform so we took her word for it and paid again using my credit card. Upon arriving home we confirmed with the booking company that she had in fact received our prepayment and we ultimately had to dispute the charge with our credit card. Despite multiple calls and multiple emails the owner has not corrected her mistake. To date she been unresponsive to both us and our credit card company. Take care if you prepay for your stay using a travel booking sight like ********** or Priceline. Do not allow yourself to be double-charged like we did.

We phoned late evening for availability for 3 of us and were offered the Causeway Apartment. On arrival Anne & Lyle gave us a warm welcome. The apartment was immaculate and spacious, it felt like home from home, it had everything you'd need. We were also able to use the gym and hot tub which was a nice touch. We had a great night sleep on the most comfortable beds. Next morning Anne served a freshly cooked breakfast, nothing was too much trouble. Overall it was a very pleasant stay, we've stayed in many places but this accommodation was by far best. Highly recommend!!
