벌리 매너 벌리(Burley Manor)

Set in such a beautiful tranquil place in the New Forest, Burley Manor exceeded our expectations! Its picturesque front garden with deers running free, to its amazing front entrance of a stunning log burning fire enriched with a beautiful aroma in the air, topped off with a very warm cosy feeling. Could it get any better?... to then be greeted on the front desk by a kind, smiley, happy and funny lady by the name of Marylyn just made us feel at home right away. Once to our room, where its location was just perfect and easy access we entered into a very cosy bright place. The bathroom was gorgeous, its shower was grand and so relaxing and the big sink such a nice touch. Not a bad thing to say about the room... apart from we found it difficult getting out of bed in the morning as it was too comfy as we sleep so well 😀. Burley Manors breakfast, lunch and dinner was all just amazing. Huge thank you to the chefs and kitchen staff for the brilliant food. Lastly the staff were all so lovely and friendly! Keep up the amazing work. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much

Really good stay overall but the property needs a bit of TLC, our room had a massive gap under the door where light and noises went through until late, room situated next to entry to the hallway didn’t help much, the room would benefit having a thick curtain covering the door or simply a soundproof door. Overall the room was comfy and had amazing views.

A wonderful experience at a unique hotel in the heart of the New Forest. Adam and his team were most welcoming and made our stay truly memorable. The room in the Manor and the location is special with red deer in the grounds. Nothing is too much trouble for the team and we would highly recommend a stay at this wonderful hotel. Thank you.

We had a lovely Afternoon Tea at Burley Manor, the food was fantastic and the service was excellent! The setting is stunning and we were so lucky to see the deer so close, it is a beautiful place to be and we will be back. Thankyou so much to Helen and Adam for a wonderful experience

We had a lovely stay with our little dog and a special room with garden access. The grounds and location are stunning. Breakfast is varied, very good and caters for different dietary needs. If you are a foodie, best to look for a place with a more varied and less bland evening menu.

We enjoy this hotel. Its not the first time we have visited; the food is good and interesting, and well presented. The staff are friendly and helpful, although at times they do seem to be in short supply. Ours was an intimate wedding function - and we were very well catered for.

I stayed at Burley Manor to attend a friend’s wedding which was hosted in the hotel. The hotel was lovely and staff very friendly, which resulted in a really relaxed trip. I’d recommend for a chilled few days away, though the new forest location would also suit guests looking for a more active trip - lots of walking opportunities and a short drive to the coast

We only ate at the restaurant. I ordered gnocchi with mushrooms in creamy sauce. That was 16£! They were falling apart and the plate was full of oil, didn't enjoy it. Service was good though and location is perfect. Won't be coming back for food :/

Unfortunately we were not on holiday but using the hotel as a base to look after a dying parent. So we were looking for a nice evening in the bar after a bumpy day. I got a call from the carer saying the parent had fallen and I needed to attend. I asked the rude, ignorant and arrogant bartender if I could grab a portion of chips to go as I had an emergency as described above. He said it would be a wait and when I ask led him to check how long he shrugged his shoulders and went to look with attitude. He came back and told me 5 mins. His lack of any empathy, customer satisfaction skills or any form of customer care was severely lacking. He really didn’t give a …. My husband cancelled my food and if we are charged for it I will be more than upset. I know this is an unusual circumstance but his attitude just upped my stress levels and for that reason I am giving this place a rubbish star ( oh, and we had to book a suite cos there were no other rooms and it was not great. No mini bar, no character and in a modern annex)
