Apartamentos Os Descobrimentos

We loved staying at these apartments. We had room 16 which was a studio but had a fully equipped separate kitchen and a very big comfortable bed etc. Everything was spotlessly clean. The view from the apartments and the pool and bar is stunning. The pool area is well maintained and very relaxing. The bar/restaurant and apartments are run by Miguel who has a wicked sense of humour and is an excellent host. The food is also very good - we had lunch a couple of times and prices are very reasonable. The only downside is we only stayed for a week and didn't want to come home. Thank you Miguel and team for a wonderful stay - we'll definitely be back for at least 2 weeks next time!

We stayed in apartment 36 over Easter as have family who own a house on the same road but didn’t have room for the whole, extended family. Firstly, the apartment was spotlessly clean and spacious. 2 bed apartment was perfect for a family of four. The kitchen had everything we needed and everything worked. The seating was comfortable and the views from the lovely balcony are just amazing. All beds were comfortable and there are plenty of plug sockets which is a bonus. Pool area also very clean and the pool itself is lovely, if a little fresh due to the breeze. Miguel and family were the perfect hosts, always keen to check everything was OK and ready to help in any way, whilst being friendly and helpful yet very laidback. All in all a fantastic stay and I can’t recommend these apartments enough. As ever, Burgau, the beach bar, restaurants and shops were excellent. Great holiday.
