SCAPES 호텔(SCAPES Hotel)

This is my second time stay here. I like this hotel in term of clean, big room, nice view, food varities during breakfast, and good staff. Recommended to stay. the price is also affordable. Only the road from main road is not ok because of construction.

Our flight was cancelled and we were forced to stay back in Genting for another two days. We wanted a place near a natural forest where we could enjoy some quiet moments and a view of the green. We spotted Scapes Hotel on Trip.com and what caught our eyes was the view of the thick forest outside one of the hotel room windows in the advertisement photo (see attached). Unfortunately upon checking in, we were very disappointed the moment we opened the window curtains. Our room was just next to a busy construction site (see photo enclosed) despite our request to have a "mountain view" both in Trip.com and at the front desk. We immediately went to the front counter to ask for a change of room. The manager told us there is no more forest surrounding the hotel due to the heavy development around that area. The hotel will eventually be surrounded by concrete buildings once all the construction projects there are completed. Actually the road leading to this hotel is bumpy and rough, due to the construction activities in this area. For guests who don't drive, it is quite inconvenient as the hotel is not near to town central. To be fair, we must give credit to the cleanliness of the hotel. The management has taken great efforts in upkeeping the building and the facilities in it. The staff are friendly and helpful especially those at the restaurant and housekeeping. For guests who don't mind the view, this hotel is a great choice. But if you are attracted by the advertisement photo thinking that you will be staying next to a green forest, you will be disappointed. Trip.com and the hotel management should update their room photograph in order not to mislead their guests and lead to disappoin**ent and bad review.

A nice place to stay. Location wise is slight far from Sky World Genting but with a vehicle this is not a problem at all. Comfortable and very relaxing. Buffet breakfast was awesome too with so many choice and very delicious. Service staff was good too. My room door was spoilt but they quickly attended to it after I raised the issue to them. I also like that there is a sofa in the room. I would definitely come back again if I come to Genting Highland next time. Recommended!

房間很大，也很乾凈。200多一晚性價比極高。房間正對雲頂山頂，水壓也不錯。樓下車庫酒店旅客停車免費。雖然位置偏僻一點，但是對於開車去的人來説，有免費停車，是一個很不錯的選擇，開到各種地方也都不遠。早餐也很豐富。

Location was about 10mins to GPO, 20-30mins drive to SkyAvenue. Within 5mins drive have few restaurant, shop and convenience store. And petrol station also. As per other review, road to the hotel not so smooth and very dark at night. Room was clean and spacious with 1 king bed and sofa bed. Comfort bed and pillow. Nice size smart TV with local channel. Have free basic complimentary mineral water, coffee and tea. Have electric kettle, fridge and safety box inside. Amenities such as pool, gym, playground is shared with midhill residence. Free carpark. ⛔door no extra lock, no lock at bathroom door also. ⛔Our room was on 10th floor, whole night have 'not sure' a/c compressor or exhaust fan sound from outside. Wall quite thin, can hear next door shower water sound also. But, for RM130++ night is considered a good bargain as we came during Hari Raya peak season.

This was our 3rd time staying in this hotel. Everything about this hotel was great; the price, the room, the amenities and of course the breakfast. Will book this hotel again through Trip.com the next time we visit Genting Highland.

Second time di sini sebab bilik Hotel sesuai untuk anak lasak tak ada barang fragile, bilik selesa besar, non smoking room. Ada kids area & swimminh pool yang best.

Overall an alright room however sound proofing was really bad with corridor neighbours making a lot of noise early in the morning. Could hear literally everything, affecting our rest time. Location was out of the way and not advisable if you do not have your own vehicle. Roads leading towards the hotel was dark and there were no street lamps, can be quite dangerous.
