I spent 5 nights at the Wesley for a business trip. It's located in Bryanston in a very quiet area, about half an hour from the airport, and 1.5km from the Bryan shopping centre. Business parks and offices are a 10 minute taxi ride away. The room was very comfortable, and has a large walk-in shower. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful, and there is a pool, which I didn't get to try as it was still a bit cold. It was a real pleasure to relax in the gardens. Breakfast consists of cereals, juices, toast - and an excellent hot meal cooked to order. No fresh salad option, but I was more than happy with what was provided. Note there is no evening meal, so you'll need to go out, or order in from Uber Eats. There is no shortage of options in the area. If I need to return to Johannesburg I'll definitely stay at the Wesley again.

Time and time again issue in entering the property and exiting - no one at reception and after a lengthy search found the receptionist in her room broken leg and unfazed at lack of front house presence - totally unacceptable for a high end guest house -

After reading reviews before booking, I did not expect the stay to be this disappointing! Firstly, no friendly staff, rooms wasn’t clean at all! Spiders all over the room! Did ask for doom and received it but over all for the amount that we payed for 2 rooms, this maybe was my worst stay ever when booking on ***********!
