Boat Hotel de Barge

훌륭한 숙박을 보냈습니다. 리셉션은 매우 친절했고 우리가 이른 아침에 여행했기 때문에 다음 날 엄청난 아침 식사를 포장해 주기도 했습니다. 꼭 다시 여기로 여행할 거예요.

나는 친구 3명과 함께 이곳에 머물렀고 좋은 경험을 했습니다. 매우 친절하고 정중한 직원. 매우 깨끗하고 뭔가 조금 다릅니다. 훌륭한 아침 식사. 직원 중 한 명인 Emily는 매우 친절했고 벨기에 생활의 여러 측면을 설명하는 데 시간을 들였습니다. 이 호텔을 적극 추천할 수 있습니다.

Hotel is not particularly clean , boat is clearly old and hotel not had any money invested for a long time . Restaurant didn’t open , breakfast expensive and limited. The worst though was Bed bugs , I was bitten literally hundreds of times. Had every thing from the small lave to the fully grown dark red ones running over the beds,I have never experienced the effects of BED BUG bites but it is dreadful . Imagine mosquitos and x by 10 , huge swellings that itch non stop but only show some days after, by which time you are home and you’ve brought them home in your luggage, this hotel has had bedbug complaints dating back to 2019 ! They cannot be exterminated by chemicals ,

THIS PLACE IS FULL OF BED BUG. We stayed at De Barge with seven of us in the party in 4 rooms and its very dirty and shabby. Our room had a very bad odour, Our friend in the next room had bed bugs and was bitten all over. THE OWNER KNOWS THIS, BUT STILL BOOKS GUESTS IN. SHAME ON YOU!!!!!!

De Barge is very well located to explore Bruges and in a quiet area handy for the station. Recommend booking canal side view room, nice waking up to the ducks. The boat is fun, different & has everything you need. Beds were comfortable, breakfast very good, setting you up for the day.

Agree with other reviews it is a quirky place and we had an excellent stay. Relaxing and quiet and lovely watching the big barges sail by from your bedroom window. Not particularly clean. I don't think they actual pay much attention to this as the wardrobes were covered in dust and lots of fluff under the bed. My one big concern was their charging policy. (And there a lot of reviews about this on ***********) and I wish I had taken heed. They take full payment before your arrival and then charge you again on checkout. It has been a nightmare trying to get this extra payment refunded. They now say the payment has been released manually but still no refund into my account. Now they say they can't help any further and I need to contact my bank, so I have had to now register a claim with my credit card company. So, I would love to stay again, and it is a lovely place and nice stroll along the canal into central Bruge however I stayed for two nights 19th September and still have not been refunded the extra payment. This has put me off and I wish I had taken heed of the other warnings on ***********. It has really spoiled the experience of staying in this lovely barge hotel. The owners need to address this as lots of reviews are commenting on it and they are obviously taking no notice for some reason.
