The hostess was extremely rude, condescending, and presumptuous of our every move in her precious hotel. She made me and my guest feel like we were criminals or children who didn't know how to behave. She even scolded us for starting breakfast literally two minutes before the official start time! She claimed she wasn't ready, and under her breath, which of course was loud enough for me to hear, that she would "let everyone know breakfast was ready by unlocking the door." I didn't want to point out to her the obvious that my guest and I arrived in the dinning room via the only open door there was to the dining room. To top it off, my guest and I couldn't leave her precious hotel without making sure she knew we said "goodbye" to her, HER WAY, by making sure she yelled at us down the street, even though we clearly wanted to check out immediately by dropping off our keys and waving goodbye to her. Such a dramatic and sad woman. I've never experienced such disrespect from any hotel receptionist as I did from her. She ought to be fired. On top of this, she didn't even give us the room I booked. And they failed to mention in their advertisement about the storefront that's apart of the hotel lobby! If I'd known this, I wouldn't of booked this hotel. The receptionist had the nerve to chase my guest and I to the hotel elevator. I'm not sure anyone would like to book a hotel stay where guests are made to feel like criminals instead of logically moving the illogically placed pathway to their only elevator!!! Can anyone tell how much I loathe this receptionist?
