KI 카라반 파크, 킹스코트

I stayed in the basic cottage. It was very clean and had all basic kitchenware supplied plus toaster, kettle and cooktop/oven. Bed was comfy. It was in a nice quiet spot in the park. Ros and Steve were helpful and accommodating to my needs. Showers and toilets were always clean and camp kitchen was excellent even with lots of comfy tables and chairs. I had a fabulous stay. Thankyou.

We stayed in our caravan in the park and loved it. The new owners work really hard to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The amenities block was spotlessly clean, we were given a fabulous camp site under the trees and travelled easily around the island using the park as our base. Highly recommend.

Ros and Steve the owners of this park are delightful and enthusiastic. They purchased the park 2 months ago (reviewed 22 nov 2024) from the previous owner of 16 years. They have a lot of plans and have hit the decks running fixing this older style park, which had been rundown. Lots of grass and large trees, spacious vibes. Old fishing shacks they plan to do up. Standard cabins and open studio cabins. Ros believes this accommodation would be good for schools. Haven't seen the resident koala yet but the owners will let you know. Could be a good place in winter too because the central kitchen lounge although open on 2 sides has a koonara style heater with plenty of firewood to run it.

Stayed in powered site. Plenty of space in clean shady spot. Superior camp kitchen. Ammenities block, laundry, fish cleaning area. Staff friendly and helpful. Situated by beach in quiet environment. Excellent value, situated good location close to Kingscote. Thank you, Con

The cabin was showing it’s age The television didn’t pick up any stations We couldn’t work out how to operate the very old stove When I went to use the barbecue equipment they where out of gas

The park is located near Kingscote town and right next to a beach. A convenient location yet quiet and peaceful. We arrived during the check-in time stated in the confirmation email. However the office was closed as the operating hours were different in winter months. An envelope with my name on it was awaiting my arrival on the office door so we checked in smoothly. Just had to pop by the office the next morning to complete the registration. The park isn’t massive yet has many sites. Not too many were occupied at the time but more than those parks we had stayed earlier. Both toilets were being upgraded. Only 2 temporary toilets and 2 shower rooms were available. Sad to say that they weren’t quite sufficient even in low season. First time seeing the only area for cooking and sitting down to eat, namely the BBQ picnic area, being quite a bit of a distance from the only area for washing up, which was labelled as the camp kitchen. Luckily it wasn’t raining when we prepared our meals. Perhaps it was a temporary arrangement during renovation. Having said that, the BBQ picnic area was very nice, spacious and cosy. Wifi access was now provided but the strongest signal was at the BBQ area.
