Green Acre Motel

Wow. I suggest who ever you have on phone and book should be placed elsewhere. I just rung and asked to book a table for 2 this Sunday - i was about to follow it up by saying 'if you have any space as I appreciate it's Easter sunday' - but I was rudely cut up by being told they are fully booked incase I didn't know it was Easter Sunday. I work as a waitress, so I 100% can relate with staff, but her tone was so rude that's it's completely put me off ever wanting to go there. I've heard from customers who come to the restaurant I work in that the same manner of tone is happening to them if they ring up the greenacres also. Not good for the business if it's getting around word of mouth. She didn't even ask how many of us and what time. It was only for 2 of us and an hour would've been long enough. Maybe next time get a friendly approach when speaking on the phone to potential customers!

Stayed for 1 night last weekend with other family members, our cousins 50th birthday party was being held there. From the moment we arrived the staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. The rooms were great & spotlessly clean and contained everything we needed for an overnight stay. Breakfast which was included in the price was lovely, with plenty of choice; cereal, toast & full English on offer which was well presented and came to the table in record time. A huge thank you to everyone at the Green Acre Motel for the service provided, 10/10 ... excellent job, well done 👏

An excellent short trip. All the staff are welcoming and friendly throughout and nothing was too much trouble. Great selection of quality food at breakfast and dinner. Good prices at the bar and numerous game facilities. Bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. All round, a wonderful stay.

This is the third time we have stayed here and we were well pleased as always. We decided not to travel to eat so ate in the restaurant and good it was too. The room was great. Two small critisisms, the bath'shower (Room 9) is unsupported so a bit unsteady. The taps are contra-rotating so makes the shower temperature hard to control. Everything else was excellent ( including the breakfast ! )

Stayed at the Green Acre Motel for one night whilst visiting friends in the are Easy enough to find and ample parking Easy to check in at 2pm with all the staff very friendly Room was spotless with ample tea and coffee and kettle for a brew after a long drive Was a little bit noisy just a the bar closed but thats to be expected Breakfast in the morning i had a full english which was spot on Morning staff were very friendly too I would certainly recommend and will definitely stay here again soon Thank you

Forgot to write a review until now ...but wanted to as this hotel was great ! Bedrooms might be basic but they are immaculately clean , the staff were lovely, even the young ones are a credit to the place . We tried to book for Sept but unfortunately was fully booked ( no surprise ) a real gem of a place especially for the price with a lovely Breakfast included !
