Not the best experience. I paid extra for early check in from 12.00. I arrived at around 13.00pm and the reception was deserted. It was like a ghost hotel. I waited and waited, rang the phone number multiple times, press the buzzer many times, no answer. Waited in total around 30 mins to someone to turn up, in the hottest day of the year, after travelling all day and already running late for my next meeting. When finally the receptionist appeared he told me that they didn't know if they had any rooms ready so I had to further wait for him to find a room for me. You would think that if they have early check ins booked in their system they could have acted better. I ended up very late for my meeting. I complained to travelodge and they did not offer to refund me for the early check in fee, but they asked me to leave feedback in TripAdvisor, so here we are. Besides this, the stay wasn't that pleasant. Tiny room on top floor, really warm and stuffy, tiny bathroom, door almost hitting toilet, poorly laid out. Overall, I will never stay again at this travelodge and will recommend to my organisation to avoid it in future
