Very Beautiful hotel, Stuff were friendly and very helpful. Food also amazing. We went there for my daughter’s first birthday and they had decorated the room. The room was clean and cleaned regularly and the team always catered to our needs. The only con was the hotel restaurant didn’t have a child menu but that’s not a big deal. Overall this was a great experience.

This hotel is set in a beautiful location. The hotel has been updated in the last few years and now mixes brutalist 1960’s architecture with stylish modern interiors. The hotel is clean and calming. We had a sea facing room which was perfect with a good size balcony. Again the room was cleaned everyday and was spotless and smelt amazing. Pool area was lovely with plenty of beds. Did have to chase the sun a little. But as it was quiet this was not a problem. Pool bar was great the staff (all of them) were super friendly and were fun to be around. Breakfast was really good with lots of choices; again all the staff really friendly and helpful. Receptionists/front of house really friendly and helpful. Even suggested they made us a lunch bag to take with us to the airport as we had to leave before breakfast. Brela is a beautiful location and we went at a perfect time. Not too busy and the sea was still warm. Plenty of places to eat and drink, and the beachside pathway runs for miles along the coast. Thanks to all the staff at The Maestral for an excellent week.

We have just returned from a wonderful holiday in Brela, staying at the beautiful Hotel Maestral. It is very classy, peaceful and relaxing - perfect for couples. We were given a room upgrade to sea view (very much appreciated thankyou) and spent many relaxing hours taking in the amazing view. It was especially nice to have comfortable armchairs on the balcony - a huge improvement on the usual plastic ones! The hotel was very clean and tastefully decorated in a modern style. We loved the amazing staircase! We had a very comfortable bed and a good sized room and bathroom. Although we usually enjoy a buffet style breakfast, the menu was varied and the staff informed us on our first morning that we could order as much as we could eat! Everything was delicious and it was actually a really nice change being waited on by the very attentive and polite staff (especially Tereza who made us feel very welcome) and eating in such beautiful surroundings. We loved the location - two minutes walk to the sea and the promenade goes on for miles. Our favourite walk was when turning right out of the hotel - just stunning views! A nice surprise was that the water in Croatia is very good quality and safe to drink - no struggling back from the supermarket carrying heavy bottles of water. We went on the Hvar and Bol excursion and also got the public bus to Omis which is definitely worth seeing. From there we went on the Cetina river cruise which was amazing and incredible value at 10 euros each for one hour and twenty minutes! There was no need to book as the boats sailed quite regularly. Although the scenery in Croatia is stunning- even the airport transfer was great - we still think Brela was the best place we visited.

Beautiful hotel. Perfect location in the middle of everything. The rooms are big and cleaned daily. Pool clean and really quiet. Clean pool towel available every day. I am coeliac and the breakfast caters for gluten free. Staff are very friendly

First time my wife and I have visited Croatia and our stay at this hotel was perfect, excellent top floor room with balcony and a lovely view down to the Adriatic. All staff polite, courteous and extremely helpful. Room and hotel facilities superb and extremely clean and tidy. Nothing negative to say at all and we’ll definitely be back. Loved everything about the hotel. Fans of Mad Men will love the decor. Pool is well marshalled to stop the towel at 7.00am brigade. Room everything is clean comfortable. If you have requested sea view, make sure room number lower than 21 or you get a tree view. Loved Celestine's impromptu singing at breakfast. Breakfast lovely and served until 11.00am. Ideal if you want to get a morning swim or run in. Beach less than 1 minute walk. Lots of steps and not much for kids. More of an adults hotel. My wife tried the Spa for a massage - very happy.
