Visit this delightful village and explore the various interesting buildings like the windmill and medieval church, with walks to enjoy from the village like one heading over to Great Bardfield, visiting the River Pant and Finchingfield Brook along the way. Enjoy a day out to Hedingham Castle, home to a well-preserved Norman fortress with plenty of scenic picnic spots and a café, or venture over to Mountfitchet Castle & Norman Village, a reconstructed medieval castle and Norman settlement.
