Stayed there with Family the beginning of October. They gave us the Suite, which helped us entertain our father. Andrew and Alison were wonderful hosts. A daily dram of Bowmore, certainly helped. Breakfast was fantastic, a full spread severed family style. We shared the B&B with another family that was traveling with us on the Scottish Routes tour. While our families didn't know each other, the atmosphere Andrew and Alison presented ensured we got along perfectly. They also have some very good deals on various bottles of Whisky, if that's your pleasure.

We stayed at The Bowmore House as part of the Scottish Routes 4 day Islay tour. The hosts Andrew and Alison were tremendous. Andrew was most entertaining with his island and whisky knowledge and his sharp wit. The rooms were spacious, clean and well appointed. The breakfast was comprehensive and delicious. A special thanks also to Andrew for looking out for my 82yo father. It was much appreciated. I would thoroughly recommend this place if you're visiting Islay.

Best Bed and Breakfast in Scotland and its not even close. You are treated amazingly well, set up with beautiful accommodation in the most picturesque location. The owners are such a lovely couple who love what they do. Awesome collection of Whiskey which is generously shared.

Back to Bowmore House for the third time. The rooms, the view, the breakfast, and the unmatched hospitality from the hosts, Andrew and Alison, will surely take your breath away.There is almost no end to the effort they will go to, to make their guest happy and comfortable. That includes still a nice dram of Islay Malt Whisky for breakfast, - if You so preferrer! I did!. Repeating myself: "Dear Andrew and Alison. You STILL have the best B&B in the world. Don't change anything. See You Again"

Great hosts very welcoming and informative. Room was really comfortable with amazing views. Breakfast was delicious and well cooked with a good choice. Very handy for local restaurants. Would definitely recommend and would stay again if returning to Islay.
