Embarrassingly cheap choices all around. Cheap floors, cheap beds, cheap “furniture” (if you can call a plastic chair “furniture”), cheap curtains falling off the rail and which do not block the evening sun, cheap and spare breakfast. This does not make a paying guest feel welcome. They are more about “come see what I have”, instead of "come and let's make you feel welcome and comfortable". Unless you absolutely must make a stop here, keep driving.

We had an unrenovated room. The beds were comfortable and clean. The room had basic furnishings and a balcony. We enjoyed the family style evening meal and the breakfast had a variety of options. We also liked sitting in the common areas of the main building in the evening - lots of interesting antiques and interesting furniture. The setting was really beautiful and the proximity to the national park was wonderful.

I was on a tour that uses this hotel. It is in a beautiful location of natural beauty. The common areas are very colorful, rustic, and inviting. If I could have slept in there, it would have been great. I had a single room that was very small which is fine. Unfortunately, the room was beyond battered, neglected, shabby, in dire need of fillers & paint. The bathroom was really bad, the shower was so nasty, I didn't. The bed was really small & uncomfortable, & there were no blackouts on either window ( or any other "amenity") No doubt, the included breakfast, family style dinner, and do-it-yourself picnic lunch is why the tour company uses this place. Cost affective. If I were planning a trip to this area, I would not stay at this hotel, although I might stop & have a drink in the common area & walk around.

We had a wonderful 3 nights here! This place felt to us a bit like a Norwegian version of an American national parks lodge. The main building was full of interesting things to see, from artwork to furniture to cozy little nooks to relax in. The breakfast was truly an amazing spread - we were full until dinner everyday! - and the dining room was a beautiful place to begin the day. We booked a basic room and it was immaculately clean, simply furnished and very comfortable. We liked the fact that it had a balcony and a lovely view of the surrounding mountains. We had some questions about hiking logistics and weather and the owner and staff were extremely helpful to us - and always very friendly and welcoming. This is a great place to base if you are visiting Jutenheimen national park.

Hotel caratteristico tutto in legno, con molti salottini e camini nelle aree comuni, le quali sono molto curate nei dettagli. Le camere, invece, non sono dello stesso livello, specialmente il bagno, il quale è sprovvisto sia di finestra che di aspiratore. Cena buona e colazione discreta.

Le cadre est sympa, la décoration atypique qui dénote des autres hôtels et ca donne son charme à cet établissement. Les chambres sont spartiates sans équipement (pas de bouilloire, de sèche cheveux, ...). La litterie est bonne mais le lit double pour couple est un peu étroit. Quand au ptit dej, correct sans plus. En fait ca ressemble à un gite de haute montagne.
