During certain times of the year November-April, there is potentially no water at dock. These are also subject to change during major weather events.Our home is located in a humid location right on the water, and while we maintain a clean and tidy space where a pest company comes every two weeks. You may encounter some common to Tennessee household insects from time to time. Ranging from Ant to Spiders to Cockroaches. We take preventative measures, but nature is part of the charm in this location. Also, there is a community boat ramp beside the property that can be used for fishing boats, pontoons, and jet skies. A charcoal grill for outdoor cooking while you enjoy the views. The front porch is great to watch the sun set over the mountains across the lake! The four bedrooms include 3 full size beds and one smaller room with a twin bed. One bathroom has been completely remodeled with walk-in shower. The sunsets are worth the price of admission alone! Escape to our charming cottage set on a hill with stunning views of our a quiet cove on Watts Bar Lake. It’s the best of small-town lake life with all the conveniences like WiFi and a town/grocery store is less than 10 mins away.With touches of nature throughout the space, stay in our home comfortably with family and friends. The semi-open floor plan allows for everyone to spend time together in common areas while having the option to retreat to more privacy in one of the cozy bedrooms. But, you really visit to spend time outdoors, so grill on the expansive deck just off the kitchen (propane responsibility of the guest) with a cold/warm drink, pull up a chair at the outdoor dining table, on the dock or by the fire pit next to the lake to relax and enjoy your time here!Have a boat? Dock it with us! But, we don’t have a boat ramp on the property and aren’t able to offer access to the lifts/power on the dock.For families with small children: We know traveling with little ones requires a lot of stuff! We hope to help take a little of that burden off you by keeping a few supplies around the cottage. We have a baby gate for the stairs (though there is also a door at the top of the stairs), toys, books, games, infant play mat, changing pad and a few feeding basics like children’s table settings.
