About this spaceOriginally from Russia (hence the name “Beriozka” meaning Birch Tree) I live in Stamford CT. About 7-8 years ago I’ve discovered Chester/ Essex area and fell in love. I’ve been coming here during summer to enjoy river rides, during winter just to see snow on the ground of old towns and needless to say during fall – when all the beauty of nature unfolds. Then came an idea to have an own place here and when an opportunity came to buy this small cottage on Cedar Lake I’ve jumped on it.The spaceThis brand new cozy 730sf cottage with extra-large windows offers cathedral ceilings; custom built-ins; fully equipped kitchen with quartz counter top which opens to cozy living area with gas fireplace, pull out queen size couch; two bedrooms with comfortable queen size beds in each, luxurious bathroom with a full size soaking tub and spacious shower with glass wall and door; stack-able washer/dryer; two large Smart TVs, split a/c units in each room, ceiling fan in the living room/kitchen; handmade custom stained glass panels and artwork add character to this wonderful place.Large deck offers outdoor kitchen with sink and gas grill and dining area; enjoy a tranquil back yard with fire pit, four comfortable Adirondack armchairs and two lounge chairs under an umbrella.You can find probably everything you’d need including all kitchen and bathroom necessities, cooking spices, cleaning supplies, linens, towels, books, games, beach towels, four beach chairs, two swimming board and even two kids life jackets.There's a small public beach walking distance awayGuest accessthe whole cottage and back yard is for guests useOther things to noteIf you are looking for cheerful get-together with a big company of your friends – sorry this place is not for you. Only four people are welcome to stay and no pets (don’t ask) no additional guest at any time. It’s a small lake community with private but not large yards where sounds travel so no music or laud conversations outside after 9pm, please. No candles inside the house – outside fire pit with plenty of firewood is available. No smoking inside either. Please try to use fireplace not more than 3-4 hours a day. During winter keep thermostats at 75 degree or less. The rest is very easy: when taking a shower please turn on the fan, when using a grill please turn on the fan and gas line - after you are done - turn it off. During check out turn off A/Cs and TVs (don't forget to sign off from all the networks you've watched during the stay) but other than that you don’t have to do any cleaning – you’ve paid for it.
