Plenty of areas to retreat to both inside and out in this one story living home and almost half acre waterfront lot! The small town of Topping is part of the River Realm, 465 miles of shoreline, along with 7 other friendly nearby towns in Middlesex & Lancaster Counties. It is the ideal place to experience the perfect oyster, escape, reflect, and return to life on the water!The spaceAs you pull up to the house you park just steps away from the front door. Conveniently you have just a couple steps before you are at the entrance door. The leads into the secondary living room with dedicated work space, TONS of books for you enjoyment, TV and a couple couches. Off this living room is the spacious laundry room with additional sink, back up fridge, and storage of all kitchen appliances for all your culinary desires!Leading off the secondary living room takes you into the center of the home where the open fully stocked kitchen, living room and dining room is located. Windows surround you in these spaces with excellent views of the river while dining, cooking or relaxing on the comfortable furniture!Off the living room is a very spacious screened in porch that runs almost the full length of the house. Several chairs and large dining table for outdoor dining with more fantastic water views!Off the kitchen is the king bedroom with River views. Across the hall is the updated bathroom with tile shower. Continue down the hallway to the queen bed on your left with River views. Across the hall is a slightly larger full bath with tub/shower combo. Finally at the end of the hallway is a bedroom with two twin beds!When exiting the home from the back of the house off the screened in porch there is another porch that is not screened in. Walk down two steps that leads you down to the backyard with solo stove, outdoor furniture, picnic table, etc. as you walk toward the dock. The boat house to located on the dock housing all the river toys!Guest accessYou will have access to all areas of the home, private dock and boat house; with the exception of attic, locked owners closets, garage and boat lift.Baby gate, Pack & Play & High chair are available for your use during your stay.Two kayak's, a canoe, and a plethora of other boat house items are here for your enjoyment including but not limited to chairs, fishing rods, crab pots, clam rakes etc.Yard games are available for your pleasure on the screened in porch as well as many books inside on the bookshelf located in the secondary living room.Community boat ramp available for your use during your stay.Beaches are within driving distance! Fireplace is not functional indoors. This 1 BR 1 Bath apartment is on the beautiful Rappahannock River with stunning sunrise and sunset views. It is furnished with a sleep number queen size bed, small refrigerator and coffee pot, and a microwave. It is a cozy room with views of the river while you enjoy your morning coffee. It has very good internet and there is also a TV with Roku.The property has a big dock you can fish from and a nice private beach for swimming or catching a few rays. This apartment is over the detached garage. There is a main house on the property that we live in. Deltaville has a Maritime Museum, public tennis courts, Friday night outdoor music, a Farmers Market, and a few restaurants. Within a 30 minute drive there are several breweries and wineries. We are about an hour from Colonial Williamsburg and 90 minutes from Norfolk Naval Base and all the festivities of Virginia Beach.If you have a boat or want to rent a boat locally, we have dock space and accommodations to tie off the boat to.
