If you have any questions, please reach out to us.On your arrivalUpon your arrival you will find starter paper products: toilet paper in the bathrooms, paper towels, and trash bags to get you started for your week. Notes:1. Upon Reservation, we require that you to upload a government issued identification, such as a driver's license to ensure the minimum age requirement (25) is being met.2. Check-in begins at 4:00 pm. Check-out is 10 am. 3. If you place your reservation through VRBO/Homeaway, you will see two separate charges - one from Let It Be/Ole Mountain Buck (your first half deposit, or your entire amount if less than 30 days from arrival), and second from VRBO - their booking service fee. This fee is charged directly from VRBO and is not part of any charges collected by us. All communication and second payments will be made directly to us as the owners, not through VRBO/Homeaway.4. The code will expire on the date of your departure.9. At Massanutten, trash disposal is the responsibility of the guests. Our digital guide will give directions to the nearby disposal areas.10. Massanutten is a beautiful area. It is a mountain, with trees, and pollen, and bugs and lots of wild animals (including bears). Please keep this in mind and prepare appropriately.11. The parking area can comfortably fit 6 vehicles. The main part of the parking area has a brief, steep dip at the beginning but the rest is very level to the home, including an accessible incline to the walkway directly to the main entrance. The parking area includes the paved strip along the street as well.12. We offer a Platinum pool pass to our guests. You are able to take up to 8 guests staying at the home to the Stonewall Terrace Pool for MPOA (outdoor pool) off of Peak Drive for free! This pool is open typically from Memorial Day through the beginning of August, and remains open through Labor day if they have enough lifeguards. 13. During winter, please ensure all vehicles are equipped for unfavorable driving conditions. This includes snow chains. Massanutten does a great job of clearing the road to the house. We pretreat with ice melt, plow the driveway and shovel to the main door. Winter on a mountain can have unexpected storms of various intensity. You can also park at the top of the driveway and walk down to the home when conditions are not favorable. With 5 bedrooms including 2 king beds, 3 queen beds, and 2 full beds, guests will have plenty of space to rest.UPPER LEVELLocated upstairs, are the primary bedroom with a king bed and large bathroom equipped with a shower as well as a jetted tub and gorgeous picture window. Also upstairs, you will find a bedroom with one king, a third bedroom with a queen and both a full-size bath with a tub/shower combo and a half bath. The spacious primary has an extra sitting room with a treadmill, office space and reading nook with room to set up a pack n' play if you need to keep your little one close. The upstairs family room boasts a double-sided fireplace, shared with the sunroom - a perfect spot for morning coffee. The dining room table seats 8, with an additional 4 seats in the kitchen and 2 at the bar. The home sits on a quiet dead-end street, close to all of the activities, and includes all of the features that make it feel like home. The home has a master bedroom with king bed and en suite bathroom on the main level. The 2nd floor has a queen bedroom in Bedroom 2, and 3 twin-sized beds in Bedroom 3. Traveling with family or friends? Check out Sam's Place- which is a 3-bedroom home next door!Home is dog friendly! We provide dog bowls, treats, and a spot to hang a leash.The kitchen is equipped with everything needed to prepare and serve home-cooked meals. We also provide a Keurig, and a French Press for coffee. All linens for bedding, towels, and washcloths are included with your stay. We also provide dishwasher tabs, laundry pods, toilet paper and paper towels. A laundry room with washer and dryer are available for guest use. No smoking in the house. MASSANUTTEN RESORTThe home is located inside the gated community of Massanutten Resort. The Resort offers skiing, two golf courses, water park, mountain biking, ziplining, putt-putt, go-carts, tennis, swimming, fishing, parks and more are only a couple miles from the house. The resort maintains 30 miles of hiking trails. Tennis courts are also located by the pool. Resort Activities are available to our guests for an additional fee (must be purchased through the Resort). SURROUNDING AREADowntown Harrisonburg and James Madison University are 15 miles from our home. There are many fantastic restaurant, museums and shops that are fun to explore in downtown. The closest Shenandoah River access is only 10 miles from the house. Tubing and kayaking are fun to enjoy during the summer. The Swift Gap entrance to Shenandoah National Park and Blue Ridge Trail is only 15 miles away and offers excellent hiking trails.
