This 2000 sq.ft. cottage is part of a 2-unit building. The other half (with separate entrance) is for our own use/guests. It is an "upside down house," with bedrooms on the 1st floor and living areas upstairs to maximize views from the living area.On the first floor there are 3 bedrooms, each with their own en-suite full bathroom. Two bedrooms each have king size beds, and one bedroom has 2 twins. The bedrooms are small but efficient. There is also a mudroom with powder room and laundry on this floor.The 2nd floor is an open floor plan with living room, dining room, fireplace, kitchen, wet bar, and a small outdoor deck.Enjoy gorgeous views of Cape Porpoise in a brand new, very high-end cottage. Walk to groceries, gourmet food and restaurants, or take a 5 -minute drive to Dock Square and nearby beaches.Please note the house is not on the water and does not have water access, but does have lovely views over and between the houses in front. The location in relation to the coast can be viewed in the aerial photo.The houses in the neighborhood are situated very closely together. You will often see (and hear) other residents in their yards or walking on the road. It is a cozy atmosphere with the hustle and bustle of Cape Porpoise Harbor.The 3rd floor is a TV room with a pullout queen sofa, full bathroom, and small outdoor deck.The 2nd and 3rd floor both have really lovely views of Cape Porpoise.Although kids are welcome, we would not call this a very "kid-friendly" home with the 2 decks, new furnishings and no playroom.Private chef and babysitting recommendations are available.Guests have a private entrance and access to the whole cottage, which is half of the entire building. The cottage is part of a larger compound of houses owned by the same extended family. You may see us or our guests entering the other side of the building, but the cottage has a completely private entrance and a fenced-in backyard.
