Check out the tide chart, and at low tide walk on the beach to go across the sand bar, where you can hike to the top of Bar Island to see a great view of Bar Harbor. The free bus system, the Island Explorer, can be boarded from the Village Green, a short walk from the apartment. It can take you around Acadia National Park, to the top of Cadillac Mountain, to Sand Beach, and to other amazing destinations on the island. If you enjoy hitting the links, the Kebo Valley Golf Club is a short five minute drive away.After an exciting day of exploring, return to the newly renovated, upscale second floor condo which has two bedrooms with queen beds and two full bathrooms with tub/showers. Just a couple of blocks from the YMCA and an athletic field that includes basketball, pickleball/tennis courts as well as baseball and soccer fields. An easy five minute walk to downtown to enjoy the many shops, restaurants, the shore path and the Island Explorer, which provides free rides around the island. If you want to explore on your own, Acadia National Park is just a short five minute drive away. If golf is your thing, Kebo Valley Golf Club is just a short drive away.The home has been updated, nicely decorated and has three upstairs bedrooms with a full bath. There is a king bed in the master bedroom, a second bedroom with two twin beds, and bunk beds for the kids in the third bedroom. The first floor contains a lovely living room with sectional sofa, an updated kitchen with a large eat-in island, an additional side table for two, and a full bathroom and a laundry area with washer and dryer. There is an AC unit downstairs as well. The outside back deck has a nice dining table and gas grill, as well as a fenced in yard. There is a covered front porch and a private driveway for parking. Rent bikes and ride the carriage roads stopping at Jordan Pond house for their famous popovers on the lawn. There are 26 Mt. Peaks to hike. You can also hop on the free Island Explorer Bus which stops directly across the street at the Narrows Campground. Hadley Point beach is located just 2 miles away. This is an excellent beach for Kayaking which you can rent right there, evening bon fires or just taking in our beautiful sunsets. Sweet Pea Cafe and winery 2 mi. I also provide a new B/W laser printer (paper and backup cartridges included) as well as a quality portable Epson document scanner. The internet connection is 350+mbps and is highly reliable. I leverage the best available modem/routers/WIFI from Nighthawk. I have a brand new Herman Miller Aeron chair with a nice glass floor mat.The two new eBikes are very easy to ride and have superb hydraulic brakes too. I use them to access distant locations as well as largely inaccessible carriage roads built by the Duponts and Rockefellers in the 1920s. This is the only property in Bar Harbor to include eBikes with the property rental! The bikes are engineered so that you can allow the bike to assist you while peddling as much or as little as you desire. I have high quality helmets available for your use. Safety first!
