The Westby

Welcoming guest house, local to town, offering a superbly comfortable and very clean accommodation. Comfortable bedroom and bed. Host excellent. A beautiful cooked breakfast, mine being Vegetarian. This is a gem of a guest house, highly recommended.

We went to The Westby Guesthouse as a family of 4 and booked the Family Suite. I loved that the kids have their own room/space as the suite was a 2-bedroom on the 1st floor. Duncan, the owner, was also very attentive and nice. The breakfast he cooked was really tasty! He asked us upon checking in what specific breakfast items we want from the list (there's a vegetarian option too). I like it as it avoids food waste. There's also free parking within the property. Also, it's about less than 10-min walk from the beach. There are some lovely restaurants around and a Sainsburys nearby if you need to buy something. Aside from Boscombe and Bournemouth beaches, we also drove to Sandbanks which is around 15-min drive from the property. Would definitely recommend this guesthouse as a base when you're in Bournemouth!

Very warm welcome to clean and comfortable accommodation. Great breakfast. Ideal location for beach and football ground. Duncan the host couldn’t do enough to make us feel at home. Comfortable bed, good shower. Full English breakfast with vegetarian option and also Continental option.

It's absolutely brilliant. Recommend and will return 100%. Duncan is the perfect host and communication outstanding. So welcoming and has thought of everything and in detail. We are a couple with an 8 year old, and it was spot on. Daughter loved her bedroom so much. Fantastic location to local shopping. Aldi, Sainsbury Mcds, etc, which is handy if needs be for extras, etc. Beds were extremely comfy, rooms spotless and cosy feel. If I could rate this place 10, I would. Breakfasts very good. Full English, continental and cereals on offer. Will contact Duncan directly next time and not through *********** as I will get a better rate.

Lovely and clean with a great breakfast. Good location and hosts, rooms are always immaculate. I’ve stayed here twice now and both times Duncan was accommodating to my travel schedules. A great answer for short stays, in a good area - does the job and no complaints!

It was wonderful to have such a lovely host. Breakfast delicious, room was perfect, it was comfy, clean and perfect for a solo traveller. Couldn't have had a better stay I highly recommend. Thank you for everything Duncan, I had such a lovely comfortable stay and felt very safe as a single female traveller.

We had a really good stay here we had 11 if us stay for my sisters hen doo. The rooms were clean the beds were comfy with soft pillows and quilt. The owner was really friendly and was happy to help you have a welcoming stay. I would definitely recommend and i would definitely stay again

I stayed here before the gig at the O2, which is literally around the corner. I wasn't there long but had a very comfortable stay. Duncan was a very welcoming host and ensured I was well fed before my long drive back. Will visit again!

What a weekend, we booked the whole house for a hen weekend. From start to finish it felt like we were staying at a friends house. Duncan was very welcoming and friendly. Lovely spotless rooms with everything we needed. A good selection of continental breakfast which was perfect for us. Thank you Duncan for a perfect stay. I would highly recommend and definitely go back. Sorry about the glitter lol
