The Lower Level offers a 2nd Full Bath and another gathering area with a 2nd TV and PS4 game station. There's also a large dog crate and outdoor game supplies, as well as the laundry area. This level walks out to the lower patio and fenced yard, to the porch swing and fire pit. The Back Deck offers mountain views and overlooks the large fenced yard punctuated by the bold and babbling Creek in the background, where you may see geese, kayakers and canoes occasionally floating by. Stroll along the walkway and steps down to the creek bank where you can put your feet in the water, fish or launch a kayak and float 2 miles to the junction with the James River. Jefferson Nation Forest is nearby, where just a few miles away is the Roaring Run Furnace where you can take an easy hike along a bold stream to a gorgeous waterfall. This is a great place to get away and enjoy the peace of paradise, yet there are convenience stores and dining options with 5-7 minutes, great cell signal and fiber internet so you can stay connected.
