When you book this hotel you have to realise you’re not going to a chain of hotels but understand this is a lovely little hotel in a small rural Italian town. The room itself is spacious, clean and well decorated. It has a comfy bed and a reasonable bathroom which has a bizarre shower which has numerous jets but none of which work. All rooms have nuances to them. We had two rooms in our party and whilst on face value they were the same, one had little extras such as a mini fridge. There’s plenty of storage here and room to put down suitcases too. My biggest criticism is the breakfast. It lasts from 7:30 until 10 but on both days, when we arrived at 8:30 there was only a few cakes and pastries left which feels like we’ve been short changed when saying we were paying for breakfast. I’m not asking for a cooked breakfast but a few meats and cheeses would definitely help. The bar attached provides excellent service and they offer a lovely board of snacks with a drinks service. If the hotel is reading this, please change your procedure to take payment on check in. When we left there was no one on reception and expecting the website to have taken payment, almost left without paying. Fortunately we realised the change and settled the bill. If coming to this area, this is a nice little hotel. No frills but perfectly good for what we wanted.
