부에나 비스타 보케테(Buena Vista Boquete)

Great little place! Wish we would have found it sooner. Fantastic price and very clean and cute. Beautiful view from the rooftop patio.

Absolutely loved our stay at Buena Vista. Room was clean, simple, and exactly what we needed. Hot showers. No AC, but fans were provided which we didn’t even end up using after the 1st night. The real hightlight of staying here was the rooftop terrace! It had an outdoor area and an enclosed communal kitchen, eating area and couches/sitting area. It was not busy and we really enjoyed our time up there. Wifi was excellent in our room and on the roof top terrace!

I had a nice, spacious room at the hostel, and the rooftop really provides a good view, as the name already indicates. It’s beautifully located, about a 10 minutes walk away from the town center. The staff explaines you hiking trails and also organizes various tours. Only problem: The reception desk was mostly empty when I got there to ask something…

My room had a view to the Mountain in Boquete . Its clean and got a kitchen, pots and pans fridge, everything you need to feel at home. It has hot water if you need a warm shower and its 400m from Boquete Center.

We had one of the suites - it was well appointed and spacious with lovely views of the town. The roof top terrace is lovely and the common areas super clean and well maintained. We were impressed. The property is super close to everything but not in the thick of things

This is a very comfortable place to stay, the bed was good, the room was spacious and clean, the shower was awesome (great pressure and hot water). It has a large shared kitchen that is maintained extremely well.

The price was fair considering what's on offer in Boquere. Nice mountain view, hot water, beautiful common areas. Have parking nearby.There wasn't easy to find someone around the hotel, but if you did. They were smiley and helpful. The room I stayed at needed a bit of TLC, chipped floor, the shower door didn't properly opened and there must be a better way to avoid people taking the remote with them other than the solution they got . I could ignore that because all together it is a nice establishment BUT if like me you enjoy a good night sleep maybe it is not the place for you, as every night during my stay I was awakened by the loud banging of the doors of people coming back at 12, 1, 2 or 3am, their chatting on the corridor or even in their rooms. I turned on the fan (even if it wasn't hot) it helped with the chatting noise but not with the banging doors. Maybe that would be the only reason I wouldn't come back.

My wife and I have stayed at Buena Vista twice: in July 2021 and in February/March 2022. On each occasion, we stayed for several days. It's a 5 minute walk from a cluster of Boquete's best restaurants. To me, "best" implies great food at reasonable prices. Roughly half the rooms have superb views of the town, and the other half have gorgeous, green mountain views. Owned and operated by a friendly young couple (Kristhian is Panamanian and Elizabeth is American) they took care to offer some nice touches. The rooms are immaculate. One of the rooms (the studio) has its own kitchen. Otherwise, there's a superbly clean shared kitchen on the second floor, and they offer laundry services. We appreciated that the other guests were respectful to the extent that the kitchen was kept clean. The entire top floor is a lovely hang-out area. It has comfortable, high quality lounge chairs and a table from which you could eat. The outer deck is massive, and it also includes tables from which to eat. I used the outer deck to exercise every morning, surrounded by chirping birds and the gorgeous views of the mountains and the town. It would be amazing for yoga or morning meditation. This hotel does not attract a party clientele. We mingled with young, respectful backpackers and families (from Panama and beyond). Our room had a large bed and a bunkbed for children. I think most (if not all) of the rooms had the same. WiFi was very good throughout the hotel. If you're looking for something with a great view that's chill, clean, close to everything in town and has a cool vibe, Buena Vista is the place.

Excellent price for the rooms. Great location to walk to town. Has a communal kitchen, and free welcome drinks. There is no elevator, so walking up several flights of stairs with your baggage could be a challenge for some people. They did not have anyone around to help in that regard
