The hotel was considerably much better than we anticipated. The room was huge, the beds were great, the refrigerator also had a freezer. The bathroom was awesome. The shower has good water pressure and the towels were new and soft. The clerk who checked us in was outstanding and caring. Breakfast was great. The food was hot, fresh, and very clean. The lady overseeing the breakfast was friendly and extremely helpful. I would definitely come back if we were in the area. After coming here, I would try Best Western Plus again at other locations

The staff was excellent- they took care of our every need! They went above and beyond to help when we had a problem.

Staff was extremely friendly. This property is a very old building with some modern updates to the lobby. The coffee bar is a great feature. The rooms are large but the bathroom needs some major updates. Did not have anyone service our room during our 2 night stay. Beds unmade and no fresh towels. Disappointing considering the amount per night. The second night the ballroom had been rented out for a large gathering. Our room was 2 floors above the ballroom and was very difficult to fall asleep with the noise. Unsure why the property would not have housed guests who were not participating in the event on the other side of the hotel, far from the ballroom and noise.

The hotel staff were very nice and friendly. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. The bath tub had mold, the towels had visible stains and were old. The AC unit were very loud inside the room, not easy to sleep with this noise. The area around the hotel was very ran down and old. The coffee machine in the lobby was excellent. Breakfast, not so much. I had a banana and a cup of coffee.

Spotlessly clean, super friendly staff. Property very interesting but a little shopworn.

Great location for the price - liked it was off Midlothan a bit so you didn’t hear street noise. The restaurant next door looks like a hole in the wall but was really good!

Although it was a little hard to find, the property in general was nice. My only complaint was the smell of heavy disinfectant trying to cover something else.

If not for the staff I would probably not come back. Needs updates and multiple things didn’t work.

The hotel is a bit outside of the general busy area of the city of Richmond but it has its charm, not on the "sparks"side, but on the "down to earth "side. So. We likes the surroundings and we got everything we wanted around. A place to remember. We may returns.

My first 3rd floor room was extremely humid. My glasses steamed up when I entered. There was a puddle of water on the floor by the AC unit. A floor lamp was in the middle of that puddle and it was turned on. The second room looked good upon entering but everything like the flooring and the bedding were damp from some sort of ongoing humidity problem. Whatever they clean with leaves things looking shiny. But wherever I walked I could see my footprints. I finally grabbed a bath towel and shuffled around on it for the rest of my stay.

I wasn’t real sure when we pulled up but I would like this hotel. But it has been great. It is clean and the staff is super nice. The rooms are nice and big. We stayed cool in our room because our air conditioner worked well. I would totally stay at this hotel again. It was very affordable and very nice.
