Having read the recent reviews on trip advisor we were a little worried that we had chosen the wrong hotel. We were very pleasantly surprised. We would highly recommend this hotel! Beds were comfy and fresh linen. Beds made daily, fresh towels. Food was simply outstanding. Huge choice of fresh salads, bread, varied hot choices of food. Staff were friendly and honestly couldn't do enough for us. Choice of 2 pools. Pool bar, snack bar. Spa on sight. Plenty of padded sundowners available. Very central to explore bodrum town, just a few minute walk. No trip to the mandarin I think would be made without a trip to Curlys bar, just a few hundred yards away. If you wanted to eat out of the hotel, superb cuisine, English breakfast Sunday roast etc. Overall we've thoroughly enjoyed our 2 weeks in the mandarin and would book again in a heart beat. 10/10 from us

Lovely hotel/food/pools. The staff were friendly and helpful. Have to say the loveholidays rep Med was a star, helped us with a couple of problems involving illness and helping to look after some kittens. We went on two good trips he recommended, the boat trip in particular was brilliant. Beautiful seas and food. Take plenty of sun cream. Thanks Med!

I had an outstanding experience at the resort. when we saw the negative comments we were worried however I believe these are written with bad intentions. Food is not sloppy at all, gym was useful and honestly the spa treatments were top class. We enjoyed our stay here and I think it is great value for money.

The place is comical. Let’s starts with rooms - they were adequate at best and useless at worst. The aircon was intermittent and the shower time took a good 10 minutes to get warm. The patio doors were broken and the cleaning just never took place. Next the gym 🫣 it was not a gym it has two treadmills a wired machine and some weights both treadmills were broken and the weight machine was just pathetic. In effect you couldn’t use the gym as there was nothing to use. Next the food- where do I begin, it was like slop every day the same, no idea what it was supposed to be - we couldn’t eat here it was so awful even the eggs in the morning were wrong. The so called all inclusive is nothing of the kind. The beer was about the only thing drinkable and no other drinks save raki and vodka and very cheap whisky. We asked for a cocktail list and were literally laughed at. The snack bar OMG it served a burger and fries and I assure you they microwaved the burger - even the stray cats wouldn’t eat the food that’s how bad it was. The pools were fine and clean the place had a rancid smell about it and the wifi just didn’t work at all. The staff were nice and clearly overworked we had to ask for toilet paper and clean towels every day. It was just awful but comically awful as well. We are very laid back and didn’t get into any debates as it just wasn’t worth it. We got Delhi belly twice and sore throats but that could have a coincidence. We will never know. Location wise it’s great. But don’t risk it. It’s not worth even a tenth of what we paid.
