Wellness- Und Vitalhotel Böhmhof

We stayed at this hotel for three nights in mid May. We liked the location, facilities, food and service but our experience was dampened by the location of the room they gave us. Room no. 8 is dark in a upstairs corner facing a small inner courtyard between the main hotel and the spa building. The room is located above the kitchen and has an unusable balcony facing the buildings wall. As it was fairly warm (no air conditioning) we had to keep the window open especially during the night. In the evening the courtyard was used by the staff for their break time . They had a good time with animated conversation and laughter which we were forced to overhear. In the morning we heard early deliveries and conversations. On the night of our arrival we tried to talk to the front desk for a possible change of room but unfortunately the front desk staff went home after 5pm and nobody was there. When we checked out we commented on the location of room no. 8 but there was no apology or sympathy by the front desk lady. Would we stay there again ? Maybe, provided they give us a better room. The food (breakfast and dinner) was excellent, the waiting staff was friendly, maybe sometimes a little impatient , especially on the first afternoon/evening when we’re not familiar with the facilities.

A delightful hotel with excellent food & spa facilities. The staff were very attentive & on arrival we were shown round the site & everything was explained. There are numerous vegan options at breakfast & dinner & just a great selection of dishes. They also lay on an afternoon salad & cake buffet which was an added bonus. Bodenmais is about an easy 25 minute walk away & the chair lift & toboggan ride at the nearby Silberberg was really good fun. The hotel also provides complementary tickets for the train which is right opposite the hotel. The owner also introduced herself & on our last evening went around all the tables to check how all the guests were. Overall a lovely hotel & really enjoyable vacation. Particular thanks to our waiter Alexander who served us every day of our stay & was so polite & attentive. A real credit to the hotel.

Sehr schön gelegenes Hotel Böhmhof in Bodenmais. Anfahrt zu Bretterschachten und zum Arber schnell und unkompliziert. Spektakulärer Wellnessbereich für diese Hotelgröße. Innenpool mit Gegenstromanlage, großer Außenbereich 31 Grad warm, 5 attraktive Saunen und genügend Ruhemöglichkeiten romantisch verwinkelt gelegen (Panoramafenster). Sehr gute und gesund moderne Küche. Die Zimmer großzügig und sehr wohnlich. Das Personal ist engagiert und möchte all seine Gäste zufriedenstellen und verwöhnen. Sehr gutes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis.

Es ist immer wieder schön dort! Wir waren schon mehrmals mit unseren beiden Hunden dort und können nur positives in Erinnerung behalten. Zimmer sind sehr sauber, Personal in allen Sparten höflich, freundlich und zuvorkommend! Der Wellness-Bereich lässt keine Wünsche offen, die Anwendungen sehr entspannend! Die negativen Bewertungen hier kann ich in keinster Weise nachvollziehen! Das Essen ist perfekt, egal ob Frühstück, Nachmittagssnack oder Abendessen. Wir kommen definitiv auch ein 5tes Mal wieder 😊

Liebe Frau Geiger - Wastl! Herzlichen Dank an das gesamte Boehm- Team. Anlaesslich unserer Goldenen Hochzeit wurde das Zimmer mit dem Romantikpackerl wunderschoen dekoriert. Freundlichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit perfekt. Sehr gute Kueche es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Liebe Gruesse Charlotte und Fridolin.
