Our second time at the Inn and we loved it as before. Lots of updates since our visit two years ago. We loved the kitchen area for breakfasts we brought in from the Roadhouse Coffee house (bakery) next door and food we brought with us. Staff is super friendly and helpful with activity and restaurant info and recommendation.

Dingy, smelly, rundown. The owners clearly are not concerned with providing a decent motel experience to their guests. It’s called Bodega Bay Inn. But, Inn is a misuse of the word. Low level motel is a better description. The woman working the front desk was clearly unconcerned about helping the guests.

Our room looked nothing like the pictures. It was dated, dark, and depressing. No real amenities in the room. Seemed a bit overpriced for the quality. The shower was tiny. Could not get the TV to work. Wi-fi was spotty. Glad we were only staying one night as we were passing through town. Would definitely not recommend.

Recently, my girlfriend and I spent two fantastic days at the bodega Bay Lodge, We had a wonderful time. The accommodations were excellent. The meals were great and the things to do at the lodge, including pools, hot tubs, sauna,bocce ball, access to hiking and a round of golf. While doing all this, we had time to travel from one area to another and experience what makes California so beautiful. The small towns, beautiful California hills, and all the variety of food, seafood, seasonal crops that provide us with something to eat year-round. I thank the owner and the staff for providing us with a great experience. In closing one of the best things that happened was that we met a number of people that had similar experiences at the lodge and continue to repeat them.

There are few places in BB that accept pets. This place does. It’s basic and rustic. It was raining so the ground was muddy and we all were filthy walking into the room. The room is small for USA but not unusual for Europe. The water was hot and the room heater worked. That’s good. The small bathroom was adequate but the sink barely drained. There is a common kitchen area but it was poorly maintained. Parking was easy but there were vacancies so it might have been difficult during the high season. We stayed here for our dog—we wouldn’t stay here if by ourselves.
