트로피컬 스위트 호텔 보카스 델 토로(Tropical Suites Hotel)

As shown in the figure I feel very flustered when I sleep at night. The environment is very good, but the food is terrible. My other half has been having diarrhea after just one lunch.Looking at the traces of being pryed, we sleep in a panic at night. Not everyone has a good service attitude, but I won't come again in the future.

La habitación está bastante bien, aunque le falta mantenimiento. La atención es bastante mejorable. No nos gustó que aunque la carta del restaurante es bastante amplia, no tenían muchos de los platos y tampoco tenían ni agua normal, ni agua con gas. Te ofrecen una bebida de cortesía con un bono que solamente se puede utilizar de 5 a 6 de la tarde, pero cuando lo solicitas resulta que es una copa de agua con azúcar y un poco de jugo de maracuyá, una gran decepción. Tienen dos cartas de alimentos, pero no informan que los productos de una de ellas solamente se pueden pedir en un horario determinado. Sí es cierto que lo que sí había disponible en la carta estaba bastante rico. Además el personal del restaurante tiene una clara preferencia por los cliente de USA (imagino que por las propinas) y llegaron al punto de sacar nuestras cosas de la mesa que estábamos ocupando cuando fuimos al baño para dársela a otras personas pese a que indicamos expresamente que regresábamos en seguida. El espacio para sent**** alrededor de la piscina es muy insuficiente. El hotel en sí está bien, pero la atención no es acorde con el precio que cobran ni tampoco las instalaciones en sí mismas. Hace la diferencia que tienen piscina y las habitaciones están bastante bien insonorizadas y son amplias, pero no creo que merezca un precio tan alto y ni tan siquiera incluya el desayuno.

Nice hotel in the middle of dirt. The room was clean, breakfast has a nice choice and very good. Staff was a little weird but nice. English was spoken by all but the maids. The loss of a star is because they let outsiders come in to use the pool. During the day there were families and it got crowded at times. I never used the pool because of this and I booked/paid to have one. I would have given it 2 less stars for the area and I wont be back but that's not the hotels fault. Town is dirty. Streets are sand and dust, open air restaurants were filthy, and somehow I got food poisoning. We were supposed to stay 11 nights but we left in 5 and lost all that money. It was a wreck.

The property is really nice, I’ve been to other hotels in this area and they are not as nice. The place is beautiful and the food is great. However the customer service of the staff in the bar was really lacking. They took long to bring the menu most of them (not all) weren’t courteous. Other than that it was nice.

Amazing experience - staff, location, food, cocktails, and ocean resto with swim up pool bar….We made the trip to Tropical Suites at last minute and only had two days….we will return and stay much longer….

I communicated with the hotel before making our reservation on the property's website. I was assured in writing that we would receive a discount as provided by Panamanian law. After I received written assurance of the discount I made the reservation. Upon arriving I was informed they would not honor the discount. The discount would have amounted to several hundred dollars on the published rate at the time I made the reservation. I received a polite apology from the hotel in writing, but no accommodation of any kind was offered. Draw your own conclusions about your decision to patronize this hotel. I provided a 3 star rating because regardless of the financial issue, the room was acceptable.

Great place to stay, great location, super clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant is great. Having a gin and tonic by the pool after a hot day made it a great relax!!!! No doubt, this is the best hotel in town!

Great hotel. Clean, comfortable rooms with a/c that works well. Staff is friendly. The pool is lovely. Yes, people from the restaurant can use the pool, but I don’t know where you’re going to go without other people in the pool. It was never too crowded. The food at this restaurant was some of the best on the island. I wish we had bought the breakfast package at check in, but we didn’t know what to expect. There are only a handful of places on the island that serve breakfast at all. Great selection of drinks as well, including fresh smoothies, sodas, and cocktails. The view from our room was amazing, we were in the birdhouse (on the top floor). The only downside is that several nights per week Aqua, a hostel/bar across the water has very loud music late into the night. It went until 3 or 4am. But there are nights they aren’t allowed to have the music.

Hotel on the water with outdoor bar/dining. Nice place to hang out.
