We got to Durango and our online reservation was for a place that was sold out, so we decided to drive on down to Bloomfield. We were only looking for a place to sleep and get on down the road the next morning. You had to ring the bell for service we got there around 7:00p. Got checked in and off to the room. The room was clean! I’m not sure which was flatter the pillow we slept on or the pancakes we had for breakfast. The AC didn’t work the best but it was a cool night, so we opened the window. There was some outside noise but we were able to get some sleep. Bottom line: If we just needed a place to sleep for the night, I would stay there again, my wife might not LOL! We felt safe no issues there. I wouldn’t stay there for more than a night but we were just passing through and didn’t want to spend 100$+ to just sleep.

I love the character of this motel, squeaky wood floors, squeaky bed and very clean. Great water pressure and an endless supply of hot water, two important things that are rare to find when traveling in the desert.

What did I like, NOTHING. Poor area all around. Older area of town. May of been popular at one time, not now. Did NOT feel safe in or around room. VERY limited dining options.

Bring ear plugs and your own pillow. Bed and pillows were not very comfortable. Lots of road noise, but the blame is on the drivers with large trucks and small genitalia who felt it necessary to rev their engines and peel out all night. For an older hotel everything was clean and in good shape. Service was good.

A significant issue in the room was inspected but not fixed - with no further follow up despite my willingness for a small compromise to resolve

Sunny the Manager was cooperative in working with me and my dogs. The room was clean and comfortable.
