We stayed in a suite, which was nice and spacious. Furniture and decor was a bit dated and especially the blackout curtains and net curtains were very stained and had seen better days. The aircon worked efficiently and was quiet. Bathroom was really great and well equipped with very good toiletries (Shower Gel/Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Lotion and Handwash). There was even a make-up mirror. The soft drinks in the fridge were free and there is a coffee machine and a safe. We had a good sleep in the comfortable bed and the room was quiet. Even though it's on the edge of the old town, it's really quick to walk there and it's right next to a lovely little park. The receptionist Cynthia was very helpful.

The hotel has a secure underground car park for 15 EUR per night, and we were emailed the access code a day or so before our arrival. This meant we could drive straight in when we arrived. There is a lift from the car park to the ground floor, then another lift to the bedrooms. Check-in was quick and friendly. Our room and bathroom were very clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed, a sofa, chair and table, tea/coffee facilities, mini-fridge and last but not least, a view of the Jardin des Plantes. As a result, the room was very quiet. The breakfast room on the ground floor also had a view of the Jardin. The breakfast choice was excellent. The hotel is around 5-10 mins walk to the city centre, also there is a tram stop outside. Highly recommnded for a trip to Angers.

My wife and I stayed in the hotel for a couple of nights and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. This was the first time we had visited Angers - a lovely historic town: we will be returning and will without doubt stay in this hotel again. One great advantage was the tram stop right outside the hotel which meant that we could explore the town without having to use our car

Lovely staff and room. Quiet time for this ‘conference hotel’ with no conference! The staff literally saved us as with a broken down car we arrived on our bike (tandem) They helped negotiate with the garage and were the centre pin to saving our caravan holiday!

Our car had broken down so ended up with an unexpected city break. Great modern room with air conditioning and an empty fridge except for the one essential - cold water. Why don’t all decent hotels do this? Fantastic staff helped by calling garage to get over language issues as well as friendly whenever we needed something. Garage in basement took our tandem beautifully. Great setting next to a park. Admittedly there wasn’t a conference on while we were there but we did feel very well looked after and they definitely helped turn a disaster into a treasure.

I have been in the hotel for 5 nights along congress. The hotel is near a very nice botanic garden. The staff was very friendly, the breakfast was rich, and the room was comfortable and clean. I faced two problems, 1. It took too long to fix the elevator and 2. All the TV channels are in France (no English ones), so when I had to stay in my room due to sickness, I couldn't use the T.V. ) : My overall experience was good
