호텔 바트 람자흐(Hotel Bad Ramsach)

The common areas are beautiful, classy; the food is very good, even if we were a group of 40+ people; facilities are nice, extremely well kept, carefully managed. For our work session, it was excellent with basically no comments. On the other hand, the room in the second building was only OK. Very small, bed excessively bland, only one pillow and towel set, no soap for the shower… the view from the room and the balcony are beautiful, but it screams of cutting costs anywhere possible, a little like penny pinching.

Unfortunately during our stay the temperatures were very high and air-condition in the room badly missed. Also the air in the corridors and in the inside restaurant was pretty stale; some fresh paint here and there would be welcome as well. The outside restaurant was very pleasant and no complaints about the food. ‘Swiss’ prices. Portions were more than adequate, though. Because of that we asked for ½ portion of a ‘Wiener schnitzel’(porc) which was not a problem. The price of the schnitzel Swfr 43.- discount for ½ portion turned out to be Swfr. 5.- . We objected against this to no avail.

Stayed 4days/3 nights.Took some getting used to. 1st flr reception&restaurant are modern, but the rest was more medical than 'spa'. Not what we were expecting, so took time to appreciate. Rooms-simple, spacious,comfortable&very clean. Furniture in great shape. Bathroom had window to room reducing privacy. BUT you see balcony view, so appreciated the decision. We paid extra for valleyview & it didn't disappoint! Altho a little loud at times w/tractors,cows&cars, but it was gorgeous &every sunset was different! Even saw fireworks in southern France on Bastille Day.Nice sized balcony w/little table/chair set. Altho would welcome lounge chairs.Friendly, helpful staff.Breakfast buffet had many choices but didn't change from day to day. No usual Euro veggies or sweet pastries,but had breads,jogurts,eggs,bacon,etc. Awesome coffee machine!Our massages were decent.The pool's water was perfect.Sitting area around pool was small & antiquated but said they are to rehab.Little touches like nuts/dried fruit & bottles of their water everywhere for their guests:) Had walking paths to towns, but unfort towns didn't have much & many restaurants were closed.What bothered us MOST was 1-ripped,old furniture covered w/blankets in halls gave nursing home feel 2-no place to relax outside of room. Outdoor area had uncomfortable beach slings NO one sat in. Remove old hall chairs & add outdoor couches,firetables&flowers wouldn't cost much but would totally enhance & create more of a spa experience.

Schöner Ausflugsort mit grandioser Aussicht auf der Terrasse und im stilvoll eingerichteten Restaurant. Das Nachtessen war zu unserer Zufriedenheit: Bärlauch-Gnoggi mit Burrata, fein im Geschmack! Mein Mann wünschte sich einen Rindsburger. Ganz speziell: der Burger ist auf der Oberseite tief-schwarz, aber nicht verbrannt - unsere erste optische Bewertung ist eher negativ, ein Gag, wieso schwarz? Sieht unappetitlich aus, ist aber trotzdem gut. Aufgefallen ist mir, dass mein stilles Wasser in einer eigens kreierten Flasche serviert wurde, welche mit vielen Kalkflecken überdeckt war, leider ein Negativpunkt. Freundliches Servicepersonal, Aufmerksamkeit könnte noch verbessert werden, wenn neue Gäste am Eingang auf Tischzuweisung warten.

Grosszügige Zimmer mit einmaligem Ausblick in die Landschaft, grosses Schwimmbassin und weitere Wellnessangebote zum Entspannen, ausgezeichnete Küche, sehr freundliche, aufmerksame Bedienung. Das Bad Ramsach ist eine erstklassige Adresse für einen privaten, ruhigen Aufenthalt wie auch für Gruppen- oder Firmenanlässe.

Hôtel avec très belle vue et les repas sont parfaitement délicieux. Situation très tranquille. Les chambres sont ... sobres et mériteraient une modernisation, sans parler des couloirs dont la moquette date un peu... De plus, une personne qui fait irruption dans la chambre à 06.00 h. du matin (elle avait les clés) sans que la réception ait une seule explication ....

Die Zimmer sind ein wenig veraltet. Jedoch akzeptabel. Der Roomservice ist nicht existent. Wir haben das Zimmer um 10.25 verlassen, sind um 22.25 zurückgekehrt und es wurde weder geputzt, gebettet, gereinigt. Eine bodenlose Frechheit. Zimmerpreis 280.00 pro Nacht. Das sagt alles: unterirdisch, inakzeptabel.

Dieses gepflegte Hotel mit eigener Thermalquelle liegt eingebettet in die liebliche, hügelige Landschaft des Baselbiets. Freundliches Personal, empfehlenswerte Küche, reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet. Die Zimmer nach vorne bieten eine traumhafte Sicht, die bis zum Schwarzwald reicht. Unser Superiorzimmer 340 war geräumig und gut ausgestattet. Bequeme Betten. Das Thermalbad (Wasser auf 34 Grad erwärmt) ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und bedarf einer Auffrischung. Weitere, etwas günstigere und kleinere Zimmer befinden sich in einem Nebenhaus. Genügend Parkplätze.
