very good location and hospitality, very co operative staff and food is 10/10, perfect gate away from city rush, peaceful and spacious rooms, gardens for kid, neat and clean pool with haveli View, a must visit and stay if you are near to Chittorgarh

From the minute we entered Castle Bijaipur we felt transported back to the splendour of the Royalty of Rajput days. The beauty of the well maintained gardens and property, our accommodation, the food and guest hospitality was beyond anything we could have imagined. Food is not only delicious heirloom family recipes, but also mostly farm to table grown by the castle. Local folk Rajasthani music is played nightly for pre-dinner entertainment with drinks, and for relaxation there is a beautiful outdoor swimming pool (around which dinner was served) and spa. Among the many activities offered at Bijapur are jeep safari’s, bird watching, yoga and the crown jewel of the property is the Marwari horse stables on site. Best of all, rides and horse safari’s are offered by the property, it’s recommended to call in advance if you’d like to arrange a multi-day Marwari Safari experience as we did. The stables can supply riding safety gear if you have none with you - we brought our own. If I could give this hotel 10 stars I would - a magical place that will always have a special place in my memories.

I recently stayed at Hotel Castle Bijapur, hoping for a memorable experience in a majestic, heritage property. While the castle itself is undeniably beautiful and the rooms were clean, everything else was a letdown. First, the location is a significant detour from Chittorgarh, making access inconvenient. Once at the property, the lack of sufficient and well-trained staff became immediately apparent. Basic manners and hospitality were lacking, and we often felt unwelcome—almost a hostile atmosphere, which is the last thing you’d expect on vacation. There’s no room service, no WiFi in rooms, and an overall sense of poor management that’s evident as soon as you walk in. For a place with so much potential, the experience was disappointing.

This is an authentic castle that has been in the resident royal family for 13 generations. It was SOOO peaceful and beautiful! The staff were so helpful and nothing was too much bother. Beautiful frescoes on the walls, amazing architecture and we were even included in the temple worship. The swimming pool was very welcome. Off to Udaipur next!

We stayed in this hotel as part of an Intrepid tour. Probably the best hotel of our trip . The heritage property had been modernised better than the other ones that we stayed in. The room was amazing . Lovely big swimming pool and food was good and staff friendly. We had henna tattoos here and walked into the local village to buy some snacks . Would recommend

We had previously stayed at this hotel a few years ago and it was wonderful place to return to . We were not disappointed and neither were our friends who were there for the first time. We stayed for 2 nights and wished it was 3! The staff were very accommodating, even offering us an evening drive in the countryside and sunset tea by a lake. Evening drinks and nibbles by the fire in the courtyard was lovey and the food was great too. Even though it was winter we enjoyed a swim in the pool. For our final breakfast the staff offered us s table by the pool (instead of the restaurant) which was a lovely experience.
