Cormiston Farm is just an amazing place in every way and will forever be a special place to us. We cannot recommend enough. We celebrated our wedding there April 2024 and not only it is a beautiful place with stunning views, but also Richard and his family are such great, kind and friendly people who were extremely helpful and made our stay and special day not only amazing but as easy as possible and as we envisioned it. It is also an environmentally friendly wedding venue and accommodation! We stayed at the house / B&B which is a beautiful Georgian/Victorian house with everything you need and also views to the beautiful farm grounds. The barn was just perfect for our reception. Everyone loved the venue and every detail of Cormiston Farm (the compliments haven't stopped yet!) Thanks for everything! =)

Lovely and quiet, nice and simple, great views, nearby drive to village and ate at the Crown Inn. Superb. Really comfortable bed and breakfast ideal. Thank you Richard and greatest respect to your sheep !!

I stayed twice in a week, firstly on my way to drive the North Coast 500 and secondly on my return. My logic was that I wanted somewhere nice to stay before 4 days camping in the rain, and somewhere nice to stay on the way back to hep me recover from my ordeal. I also needed somewhere secluded because my 38 year old Land Rover with all my camping gear has a canvas roof and no door locks. I certainly fell on my feet. A warm welcome; large warm room; lovely bathroom and large pot of tea was followed by a pint of cold Scottish Stout; delicious, home cocked, locally sourced 3 course dinner; very well priced and excellent wine; all delivered by the charming and friendly owner. I slept like a log on the most comfortable of beds and then devoured a huge breakfast, cooked to order - no dried up hot plate rubbish here! I left almost wishing away the next 4 days because I was so much looking forward to my second stay. I was not disappointed. The welcome; dinner; wine; room; conversation; shower; sleep and breakfast were just as good as before. I have travelled with work for 18 years, staying in hotels for 50 to 70 nights a year so I have had plenty of experience as a closet hotel inspector. I rate Cormiston Farm as the best B&B I have ever stayed in and probably in the top 3 of places I have ever stayed at. It is also extremely good value. It is full of charm and quirkiness, and a wonderful counterpoint to the bland corporate chain hotels. I will definitely be back and cannot recommend it more highly.

What a find! We enjoyed a fantastic 2-night stay at Cormiston Farm while attending a wedding at nearby Cornhill Castle. The grand Georgian house retains a wealth of original features and the views from the bedrooms are stunning. Richard was a very welcoming, accommodating host and breakfast was excellent. We are eager to return to explore this lovely part of the country, and will definitely book dinner next time (and sample some of Richard's extensive whisky collection!)

Had a very pleasant overnight stay at Cormiston,bed one of the most comfortable I have slept in,Breakfast selection and ingredients wer excellent Our host was very attentive and nothing was too much trouble would definitely recommend
