Mantra Resort

Mantra resort loated approximately 70kms from Pune spread across a vast area overlooking some great views from the lake formed due to Bhatghar Dam. Once at the property one can have great views from diferent locations of the property depending upin where one is put up at the property. Well now coming to the property been spread across a very large area maintenance can be bit of a worry for the same. Which when we were there at the property were pretty much evident let it be from the rooms that we were at, hygiene conditions at the property or the basic upkeep of the property which needs a massive overhauling. So we had come for a biking event at this property and were staying in an 8 people dormitory. The dormitory setup in a way that 2 people can sleep inside where AC is there with an attached washroom and 6 people stay out in the hall without an attached washroom very odd setup for a 8 people setup. Coming to the room where we staying no provision of glasses water jugs were there reasoning given was organisers didn't ask us to that. How shaby of an answer to be given it's the basic bare necessity to atleast provide glasses and vessel so that atleast people can drink tap running water atleast. Coming to the beds. The beds inside the AC rooms were proper king sized wooden beds the ones outside in the halls were steel franed ones some with plywood and some without. Outside beds had thin wooven woolen mattresses wherein the inside ones had the proper dunlop setup. In terms of the blankets provided were pretty thin ones seemed to be old and not washed too. Only saving grace in the rooms was the washrooms, the size of the rooms and views from the rooms. As, said earlier we had come here for a biking event which was a two day event the basic hygiene in terms of the washrooms was also not maintained. The common toilets located near the event area were stinking and not maintained at all. Such was the case that people preferred taking leak outside intead of going to the washrooms. I myself personally went to my room which was located approximately 600 metres away to answer nature's call of duty. It seemed like as in the property was just bothered about minting money and nothing else since the whole property was booked for those 2 days for our biking event only. Mantra Resort to be honest sits at a very great location but the management needs to seriously think about major overhaul of the overall property or plan it doing the same in phased manner which would lead to better managemnt of the property too.

Recently I have visited this place with family (couple with two kids) Not advisable for family with kids. Water sliding are not well maintained due to which kids got injured. Veg Food quality is ok. Non veg is not good. Our overall experience was not good.

Worst experience ever. I think they should banned this resort. Overall food quality ambience were not at all satisfying. Worst worst worst experience. Please don't even choose this to stay. Just hate this place

This place is worst. Rooms are not clean.washrooms are pathetic and insect in the room. Slides are broken and rusted . Also pool water was not clean. They gave classic room when we booked delux and receptionist was not ready for feedback. Not recommended place

Worst experience ever. Do not visit this place. We had booked for a family of 19 ppl. Some rooms had wobbling commodes, thank god we didn't fall off from the commode, then pools were dirty, bath tub got choked up, food was tasteless and horrible

Visited recently for a personal outing. Now here is an honest review: 1. Road leading to Mantra passes through some villages. It was required recently as some work is going on main road. But this information is shared only after you have confirmed your booking. This is as good as Cheating. 2. Swimming pool and rides are for namesake only, no real good use. Water was very dirty. 3. We had taken all inclusive package including BF,Lunch,Dinner and everywhere we went, we were asked for proving it that we have taken package. It was not only annoying but embarrassing. They should have way to distribute coupons right at check-in rather than ask before every meal. This was POOR service Mantra. Very Poor. 4. Room service is almost negligible. Electric kettle was dirty, asked for another one, it came after 1 hr and voila, this one was dirty as well. Rooms are not being kept clean. Room allocation is done by some drunkard, who doesn't know which key is for which room despite they being numbered. Room keys needs to be handed over to guests right at reception. We were not even sure if rooms were cleaned or not. Saving grace was clean towels which were done into some shape, which let us know, even if not cleaned, it was tones up a little. 5. Washrooms are unkempt & simply in bad shape. Don't be surprised to find bugs, cockroaches, frogs. 6. Remotes do not work. No no , nobody wants to watch TV in a resort, but it is again an option, so it should be working. 7. Gaming zone is all paid one. Wait there are free games like Snake & Ladder, Ludo, Carrom... they are bulls**** guests with these games & everything else is charged, from 40-100/- 8. Very less parking space and no one helps you out with it. 9. Nature walk / Yoga, nothing is being done now, you are on your own for these. 10. Ala carte food service is way too horrible. We ordered some snacks & drinks and it took ages to come. I had to in fact bring my own booze from counter. They have very limited choices & prices are very high. So it is a complete NO NO. The loungs area is never lit & reeks of very bad smell. Avoid. 11. Lady who manages bills outside 'Sanjha - Chullah' carries obnoxious attitude. Hated her attitude like anything. This was for 29th May 2022. 12. Movie time and all other things that are being advertised are not there. It is literally a flop show in name of Resort. 13. Burning waste in name of bonfire ...thats STUPID. Wondering why 2 starts despite all bad review.. Food. If you are eating out of Sanjha Chullah restro, you will like Lunch as well as dinner if you like little spicy food. For bland food Murali restro is there. There is Mutha river ahead of Mantra, which is approachable via foot from road (appx 400 mts) and is a good spot for taking pictures. So, in all it is lot of false promises worth nothing. The resort is completely rusted in teams of ambiance , not maintained 1. Water slide do not work and get stuck in between people come walking down. 2. Rooms are not up to the mark - TV not working - AC not working - Remote do not have battery's. 3. The activates listed are not covered completely no assistance no proper staff to manage crowd. 4. Game zone - All the free games are either broken or not working - Just paid game are in good condition. Paid games are too costly and extra burden on guest 5. Even if we complaint to management no response. 6. Internal commute is too difficult and no arrangements for guest.

From the moment we arrived at Mantra Resort, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The breathtaking scenery, luxurious accommodations, and delicious dining options made our getaway truly special. The exciting activities like the water slides and bonfire added to the fun. Overall, a fantastic experience that we can't wait to repeat!
