We arrived early morning and we had full instructions of how to proceed to our room. The next morning we received a call from Sarah that breakfast was being held open as we were so late arriving. We had a lovely breakfast fruit cheese and some yogurt, scrambled eggs, an omelette some bread. It’s was just delicious. We only had one night in the small hotel but we’ll definitely be back. We paid our bill and went for a walk around the beautiful old town later we returned to the hotel to collect our bags and arrange a taxi. The hotel rent and there was none available. Sarah on reception then drove us to the train station. A lovely helpful and knowledgeable member of staff. I cannot thank the staff enough for their help and attention. Thanks and we’ll definitely be back.

A nice historical hotel in the city center! The staff was kind and helpful. The rooms were clean and looked as if they were recently renovated. The restaurant was nice with good food. Breakfast was a bit lacking, not the best, but still okay! Didn't like that there were a lot of nuts everywhere, nut allergi is common and it would be easy to place them at the end of the table. Mind that there is no elevator in the building, not a problem, just mind it!

Perfect location and a unique property. Immaculately clean and comfortable. Lovely touch of water available on arrival and tea and coffee facilities. Staff super friendly and helpful. Carried our bags to the room (our room was up 5 flights of stairs and needed 3 keys to reach but not a problem for us). They helped arrange an early morning transfer to the airport for us. Wouldn't hesitate in staying again.

Lovely room up a flight of stairs Room has lovely crisp bedding and towels were generous. The room and bathroom are perfect. The landing offers coffee of excellent quality. The hotel has 3 restaurants accessible from the street all of excellent food and service. The reception is always there to help Welkom you direct you. Lovely ambiance relaxed pleasant and helpful in an excellent position in the village. Wonderful family business since 1956

In a lovely location in the historic Città Alta area. The room was nice and modern, the bed very comfortable, and the shower was excellent also, all for a reasonable price. The level of street and neighbour noise and the slightly underwhelming included breakfast stop this from being 5 stars, but we're being a little picky.

Great location and atmosphere. The room is in a block off the Main Street in the old town. It’s up two flights of stairs and in entered via balcony with an incredible view. The room has an adjoining communal room with coffee and a few seats. The building is one of the oldest in Bergamo but the room has been total renovated to a high standard. We dined at the DaMimmo (which offer a 10% discount) and it was very good. The set tasting menu for 45 euros was excellent value plus they had a good selection of ½ bottles of wine. Breakfast was far beyond what we expected. Superb coffee, croissants, hams, cheeses, bread, yogurts, juices and one of the best we had in our 4 weeks stay in Italy. Would stay again if ever in Bergamo.
