From the moment we arrived, it was one difficult and frustrating situation after another. If you are driving and looking to park at this hotel, it's a 1-lane narrow street on a steep mountain, full of people and cars heading in the opposite direction. Then, there is a very limited and difficult turn in order to turn into the driveway which leads to the garage. This required 3 reverse shifts and nearly scratching our car. Yet we were charged 25 EU per day to park. The shower pressure dies in the middle of bathing, with the water temperature fluctuating when this happens. This can last for several minutes before the water resumes. I brought this to the attention of the management but nothing was resolved. Breakfast is not buffet like other hotels for this price, and we were charged 5 EU per bottle of water we drank. A few insects in the bathroom, but we just stepped on them. There is no way to keep the light out of the room as some of the windows do not have shades and the AC control contains a large light right next to the headboard which is very annoying if you like it dark when you sleep. They have hundreds of channels on the TV, but only 1 of them was in English, and it was CNBC so we could only watch reruns of business shows and the Tonight Show. We quickly realized that this hotel was not for us, and that it was overpriced, so we asked to shorten our stay after explaining all of these issues and leave 1 day early. Their response was NO REFUNDS. There was no compensation provided to us at checkout whatsoever, even after I took the manger into our room at 11PM to try to fix the water pressure and find a single English TV channel other than CNBC. We traveled all over Northern Italy for 2 weeks and loved every other hotel we stayed at, but unfortunately got very unlucky with this one.
