Manoir de Plaisance

This is a perfect place to relax - far from any bustle, or noisy road. The manor is surrounded by countryside with a brook running through the garden near the house with ducks and beaver-like coypu swimming under the water lilies. The bedroom was charmingly furnished with the only comfortable pillows we had during two weeks travelling in France. We also had the best breakfast with memorable breads and pastries. Ben and Michael have got it exactly right. I've no criticisms! There were even sockets for iPhone chargers in the bedroom and plenty of hooks to hang robes and towels in the bathroom (a constant gripe of mine). Ben cooked a fantastic dinner which we ate outside to the sound of the brook. They don't do dinner every night but recommend local places to visit.

Absolutely charming place with charming hosts. Ben and Michael make a great team, the attention to detail is superb, dinner was lovely (don’t know if I loved the warm hummus but it didn’t detract from the whole experience). Definitely recommend staying here.
