Ex hotel staff cannot do enough. We visited this hotel last yr for my birthday so returned again this Yr... food not as good but still nice...bar staff excellent especially Claudia...David entertainment..all dining room staff and maids....however I think they need to invest in new beds not very comfy ...plus rooms need updating.

What has happened!!!??? Used to be the best hoteli Benidorm. No David..Best entertainer ever! Evening meals...really poor choice and quality! We are gutted! 3rd time at this hotel...but it's all changed what a shame! What's gone wrong? Not happy:-(

The rooms were clean and furnished with all the necessary amenities, although they appeared a bit worn out. Unfortunately, there was no air conditioning during my stay, so I had to keep the window open. Consequently, the room had a slight cigarette smoke scent from the adjacent balconies. The staff was friendly and attentive. However, it’s important to note that this is not a hotel for younger travelers; it caters primarily to older clientele.

Stayed at the hotel with a group of friends and family in Feb. Nice adults only hotel. Room is a little dated but well equipped. the hotel is in a good location on the edge of Old Town and easy walking distance to the beach. Food was in the main was great, plenty of choice and freshly cooked, Jill in the restaurant ran a good ship! A couple of days were a bit below par, but we were always able to enjoy a nice meal. Raul and Oney in the bar were excellent and gave us a great service consistently through our stay, and we noticed the loss of them on their day off. David from the animation team was great fun without being too over the top. Good quizzes in the evening and the comedy show was hilarious. One downside, the lifts were slow! All in all, we loved our stay!

Our second winter visit to the Royal. We had a fabulous time. Yes the rooms are now feeling a little dated, but spotlessly clean and comfortable. Food overall, was excellent once again. But, what really makes this hotel is the amazing staff. Without exception they were all totally customer focussed, efficient and friendly. We were amazed upon arrival to see so many familiar faces from last year's visit. This in itself speaks volumes. Definitely hope to return again next year.

Spent 5 pleasant nights in this hotel. We were surprised how much better it was given as the photo advertising doesn’t do the bedrooms in particular any justice. The room was modern, specious, clean and fantastic shower. The bar area inside and out was lovely. Staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant was bright and immaculate. Lovely selection of food at breakfast and dinner. I would say that we did think the hot plate needs to be warmer as some food was told cool to eat with confidence.

Excellent from start to finish.Greeted by the excellent Isabelle.Our room was already ready which was a plus .Our room was smallish but had everything we needed.The chocolates were a nice touch.Our maid was excellent.Room cleaned well everyday.The breakfast was very well run by the manager and the morrocan guy doing the eggs was great with guests every morning.The waitresses we’re on point clearing our dishes timely but never intrusive. Every interaction with a staff member was a pleasure.The location of the hotel was perfect for the beach and the old town.We will return
