Despite the advertised and website info stating that there is Wi-Fi at the hotel, there isn’t, at all. In 2025 zero Wi-Fi at a hotel is unheard of but Hotel Rambla doesn’t have WiFi. Air conditioning was hit and miss. I arrived at 3am and the evening reception staff stated that only the day reception staff could sort out the A/C. It was so hot in the room when I first arrived I had no choice but to open the none locking balcony door. Hello mosquitos. The A/C is controlled remotely by reception so if it’s like when I arrived, 32oC, it’s a bit oven ready in the room. The hotel is old, pretty run down, but served it purpose and provided a relatively comfortable bed, a shower and a toilet. It’s let down by the lack of modern amenities such as WiFi, and controllable A/C I went to reception every evening to ask for the A/C to be switched on but it was very, very temperamental. I was not the only person to experience this, many other guests were experiencing the same. The room safe, it requires a €1 coin for every time you use it. Again, the website states a safe is available but fails to give you the detail that you need €1 coins at the ready. Breakfast was very sparse offerings but I expected this as it is advertised as 3⭐️. I ate elsewhere but this was my choice. Overall, for the price of the 5 nights I stayed here there are much better hotels with the same star rating with more modern amenities for the same price. Read the reviews and look around and in my experience, this should be your last resort.

There's a need for multilingual receptionist, its not everyone that speaks Spanish. The communication problem has led to many unanswered request by clients who don't speak Spanish because the receptionists don't speak other languages than Spanish. Put a call across to the hotel line now and tou will know what am saying.

Very rude explained didn’t talk much Spanish and was treated very rudely for one me and my husband of African ancestry was treated with rascist remarks by the lady and man at front desk which didn’t have name tags and wouldn’t give me there names and told me there was no complaints for English air con was only on 1 hour the whole day as they decide to turn off and on when they feel like and toilets smell dirty all rooms look same and throughout the hotel there is empty site rooms with no locks or safety information on the 5 floor we got the lift to ground and was stuck for 3 hours while staff laughed if you complain they will call police to get u out u will not get refunds and if you talk to anyone that stayed they will say same treated badly shut this place down avoid if ur British

AVOID AVOID AVOID This hotel is filthy and has a very musky smell throughout we walked in and was told our room numbers and headed upstairs was already having doubts it was dark and dull and the smell was awful got to our rooms door wouldn’t open had to contact office door final opened and then wouldn’t close not secure at all the room was not clean the bed linen’s were dirty with marks on them very dark in there even with the light on opened the curtains to find our room view was a concrete wall with bars on the window rust around the bathroom taps and just felt very unclean couldn’t wait to get out the hotel it was so bad we didn’t stay had to pay for alternative accommodation no help from the staff at all was basically told nothing they could do

Well where do I start! Read reviews on the hotel and decided they can’t all be bad hmmmm. I can now see why they were bad, our booking stated we could check in at 2pm we Arrived at 1pm to be told we could not check in until 4pm as our room wasn’t ready. We had to take our cases to the pool area and sit while the room was being cleaned or supposed to have been cleaned. Wrong it was minging. Pool area Advertised lawn pool sun loungers. What they forgot to say was rubble round sides of pool and cuttings of the fake grass lying to the side area which was supposed to be a pathway out on to the street. Room When we did get our room we just burst out laughing at the state of it. There was more lumps and bumps on the ceiling the road outside was smoother. On to the balcony where two plastic seats and a round rusty table welcomed us. The paint and plaster on the walls were all colours from being patched up. The room that was cleaned or so-called the dust was lying on bedside lockers tissues under the bed and last but not least two drawers where we went to put our stuff when you opened the drawers the base part also opened so noting could be put in them. Balcony door would not lock (we asked for it to be fixed and still waiting It was never done ) no fridge in room. Tv with no remote no kettle Bathroom Tap on sink was rusty bath was dirty looking as it was that old and the coating on it was gone. Long dark Hairs were lying beside the toilet and even though the room was cleaned each day the same hairs were mopped to different parts of the bathroom floor.cleaner did eventually change our towels but didn’t leave any to replace them when went to reception to get more they came up to check room before they gave us more Food We were bed and breakfast which we tried on day one that was enough. The fresh pears were nice and the mederia cakes also that was only thing we ate. Staff not very pleasant. Or approachable with the exception of one lady who smiled but had very little English. Then there was the parrot type bird flying round the reception area and dumping all over place. We made the most of our stay by staying and eating at the beach each day and out to new town at night. One good point was it was good location short 5 minutes walk to beach. I do not know how this is a 3 star hotel Would I stay here again ? Not a chance I would definitely return to the area but not this hotel

Looking at previous reviews I was so worried about staying here. We booked through a travel agency and this was the hotel we got. Upon arrival it was all in darkness so we were very worried as we didn’t get to the hotel till 2am however the lights were sensors so once we walked in they came on. The reception staff were lovely and friendly. The hotel is very clean, and cool on reception. The lifts were working. Our room was lovely. Very spacious. Had a huge bed. Balcony. Hair dryer. Wardrobe. Safe. Only thing is the air conditioning is not very powerful it didn’t cool the room much but was manageable. Cleaners came in everyday! We didn’t use the pool as it looked dirty with limescale around the edging, however this was cleaned on our last day. We used the beach which was only a 5 minute walk if that. We had breakfast every day which was 8-10 very good times. Huge variety of choice. With hot and cold drinks available too. I cannot fault this hotel. It’s very clean. The staff are very nice. It’s near everything you could possibly need. Please go ahead and use this hotel as it’s massively improved since precious reviews. Would definitely return and would definitely recommend! :)
