매직 비야 델 마르(Hotel Villa del Mar)

Overall a great location in Benidorm away from the crowds. Stunning views of Peacock island and the sea. The hotel desperately needs some seating areas to relax and have a drink. The roof was lovely but bar not open often and area was small. It would be good if they cleared room on 1st floor to create a new area. Not sure I would call this a 4 star hotel. Pros - [ ] The hot tub in the upgraded rooms were great and on a high floor - all on 7 and 8. Don’t bother with presidential suite. Friends had this room and regretted it - it’s on the first floor so you can see the hot tub from the street and the back room looks out onto the kids pool area. - [ ] The sunset from the hot tub was stunning - [ ] Great location in a nice area of Benidorm. Close to old town and lovely views. - [ ] Roof top bar was lovely with a nice sunbathing area. - [ ] Free spa session was a nice bonus with a good view Cons - [ ] WiFi was pretty unreliable. Should be a lot better this day and age, it was difficult to stream anything and no coverage in certain areas of hotel. The tv needs a better remote to access all the features - [ ] Most of the staff were great (reception, waiters and cleaners all great) but there were two barmaids he went out of their way to be awkward and miserable. They should not be working in hospitality or at the very least not in the front areas - [ ] It wasn’t worth upgrading to UAI - some of the extras listed on the website weren’t available off season. I didn’t notice a difference in drinks that were available on top tier. It would be better to promote what were the UAI drinks. Some of the party went to the sister magic hotel for a visit and the extra add on let them access better drinks - [ ] There were lots of extra charges such as a deposit for beach towels, 5 euros for spa items and a daily charge to the safe. For the amount paid on the upgraded rooms I would have liked this to have been included. - [ ] No where to sit and relax. Restaurant was small and hard if you wanted a table larger than 4.

This hotel really does give excellent value for money. I upgraded to a room with a view & jacuzzi and it was certainly worth it. Food is just unbelievably of a high standard. Choice is amazing! Careful you don’t get carried away and mix your food. I had American style Octopus with chicken curry one night! Have to admit, though unconventional, it was great. Service is also of a very high standard.

Honestly have not got a bad word word to say about this hotel , well i have the pool to cold , thats it, food amazing plenty of options, bedroom beds great ,sea view perfect , staff lovely, 50mtrs from beach, cant wait to visit again, well done villa del mar.

We stayed for 3 nights with the ultra exclusive package which was expensive to say the least. The hotel is defo not at the standard for the price we paid. I wouldn’t recommend ultra inclusive at all the only thing you really get is a bed a Bali bed at the pool and a little cornered off section for dinner which made no difference and just seemed plain weird and awkward. They are charging far too much for the hotel. Beds are hard and uncomfortable. The pool is absolutely freezing and I could only go into it fully once when drunk. Rooftop bar is nice but nothing that fancy. Entertainment at night downstairs is fairly grim and they keep the lights on while the musicians are playing so it’s really weird. I feel like the spa should be included for all ultra inclusive stays no matter the length of time you’re staying. Only upside to the hotel is the staff to be honest they are all really friendly. Buffet has a lot of food but the meat was a bit off so I mostly stuck with the fish. They seem to just be missing basic stuff like pizza etc as I didn’t really feel like eating mussels every night of my trip. Average hotel and would not book again for the price we paid for it. Look somewhere else

Very clean lovely food nice spacious room sadly no balcony Hotel set up not so good nice rooftop bar but need a pool preferably heated as water was freezing there .had to walk downstairs to access pool great location next to sea front nice and quiet but could be noisier in main season

The hotel is very welcoming, the staff will do there upmost to accommodate your needs. Our room was spacious and overlooking the sea we had a settee and coffee table. The food in the restaurant is more than ample to suit everyone's tastes and the drinks are plentiful as all is included. A definite must.

Great hotel, lovely location opposite the beach. Staff friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Great value for money, would definitely recommend and return

I’ll start by saying that I’d wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone who’s thinking of booking. This is our 4th holiday here and we’ve booked again for later in the year, as it ticks all the boxes for us. Accommodation, staff, food and facilities are spot on. There’s a friendly vibe about the hotel and nothing is too much trouble for anyone. Special shout out to ETY and all the restaurant staff who are absolutely fantastic. Pleasant, polite, efficient and welcoming, they can’t help but make you feel that you are a valued and important guest. Ety remembered us from last year and I think that speaks volumes about how decent a hotel it is. Food is always varied, delicious and tasty. It’s always well presented, plentiful and replenished when necessary. All the staff work hard at ensuring all guests are happy. Bar staff are always smiling and cheerful plus all the drinks are of the best premium quality. It’s still April so the pool bar is only open from 1000-1400hrs. Last year in May it was open 1000-1800hrs so hopefully as it weather gets better this will be addressed. The hotel did actually send a member of staff around asking for suggestions and how things could be improved which I feel shows a great attitude and gives the customer an opportunity to make meaningful engagement. Never had any issues getting a sun lounger around pool and the upstairs chill out area is a real dream and always popular because of its proximity to the amazing views plus of course the bar and spa. Rooms are always cleaned to a really high standard, in fact the whole hotel is always gleaming. When checking in get the plastic pool glasses 1€ each deposit and a towel 10€ deposit just saves you going back later. Certainly a hotel you won’t be disappointed in :) Happy Holidays

Amazing stay!! It was my boyfriend’s birthday and reception did great job helping me check in early and organized everything to be perfect . Special mention to Maite working at the spa, best massage ever
