Me and my husband stayed here for a week. We had apartment 654 which I believe had been recently refurbished. The apartment was a 1 bedroom apartment with fully equipped kitchen including washing machine. It was spotlessly clean and very spacious with plenty of storage. Most importantly lovely aircon in the bedroom and living room. Outside we had a terrace overlooking the pool and sea. There were a couple of sun loungers, table and chairs, BBQ and a clothes drying rack. The staff at reception were very friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome. There is a good supermarket across the road which we used for everything we needed. The pool was quite deep in places 2m, so if you aren't a good swimmer be aware of that. Bus stops are outside the hotel or down on the seafront which take you to Malaga etc. We caught a few while we were there and they were cheap and frequent. 5 minute walk to the seafront where there's a long stretch of beach and shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again if we came back to this area.

Reception was amazing. Room is great. Pools are telled to be open till 20:30 We went to a pool 20:00 and were forced to gome out 20:10 The pool manager said he wants to go home! We reffered to signed that are on maps and on the pool door. He just told us, if we do not get out, we will not be able to come to pool tomorrow. Think yourself, is it worth the experience. Never before have i met so rude people :(

We statyed in Evita Hill, but had use of all Evita club facilities. We had an excellent stay for 28 days in May/June 25, but that was in part because our host was very good and he kept his apartment to a good standard, plus he obviously paid the maintenance fees because we had no issues with using the Evita Club facilities and pool etc. In fact, the staff are excellent, with a special mention to Paulo and Oliver the lifeguard and pool attendant, plus the staff in the clubhouse, who could not be more friendly and helpful. PLEASE NOTE: Evita Club reception is NOT for availae to you if staying in Evita Hill, so don't expect a reception service, it's your host who should deal with everything for you. Ours was excellent. Whilst both the apartment and the Pueblo Evita complex's are 30+ years old, and a bit worn in places, it is generally well maintained. A certain level of fitness is required to cope with all the steps, but this is offset by the fabulous view from the terrace if you are up the hill. The kitchen area has all the basics required to prepare meals, plus a washing machine. The bathroom has had a high-quality refit with an excellent shower. We found the bed comfortable and the aircon works well. Very good Wi-Fi connection and the TV had about 6 UK channels. The main pool area downstairs is excellent. As mentioned, the staff are always helpful in the pool and clubhouse. NOTE: There is a second pool on the upper level, which is closer to the apartment, but this only opens during peak season, so it was not available during our stay. The location was great for the beach, bars, restaurants, supermarket and the train station. Please don’t be put off by all the bads reviews but also make sure you book with a good owner/host like we did our you may be disappointed. Our apartment/host is highly recommended.

Here now and as owners we would have expected a better apartment! Stuck in a ground floor apartment looking at the pool and the back of the shops and restaurants on the front street. No sun on the terrace as it's totally enclosed! And don't get me started on trying to get a sunbed! People queuing at 9am to reserve their beds/spot it doesn't open till 9.30am! By 9.15 not one bed to be had! ridiculous!! We went to the beach as can't be bothered with this!

The location was great and the walk to the beach was pleasant. All the staff were very helpful too. They even helped me call a taxi in Spanish.

Loved being here as it brought back memories from 10 years ago. Being older (mid 60’s) we found the steps to and from our apartment tiring at times but that’s what you get for being in a very nice area with all the bars and restaurants you can possibly want. A special mention must go out to the staff at “The Clubhouse”. Brilliant, supportive, accommodating and prepared to go the extra yard (metre) to make you feel welcome.
