더 웨스틴 라 퀸타 골프 리조트 & 스파(The Westin la Quinta Golf Resort & Spa, Benahavis, Marbella)

We are currently at the hotel, final day of three playing golf, one round per day. The three courses are excellent, lovely holes and a challenge. Bar a bit expensive but not the end of the world, and rooms nice. As its our last day, we played 18, waited for the rain to stop and fancied a bonus nine holes. Unfortunately, the pro shop wanted to charge 268 Euros for nine holes and a buggy, which was just way too much. For nine holes, you'd pay half that, as that was comparable to the original price we paid when booking. Sadly, we've gone from thinking "we will come here again' to "nice place but a rip off'. Our polite advice to the hotel: please don't fleece people at every opportunity and you'll find they write nice reviews and come back in the future

The stay was good but the hotel definitely needs a renovation. I would give it 3 1/2 not 4 stars. The staff is very nice but the rooms and common areas are quite dated. Pictures gave a false representation of the rooms and hallways. Shower could not keep a constant temperature, hot then cold then hot again. Spa is meh, although I had a good massage Golf is fine but there’s definitely nicer courses in the area.

It was my first visit to this property and I totally loved it. I was checked in by Bob, who was really friendly and gave me an amazing g room with a great view. The pool area is lovely, lots of space, beds and towels. The pool service could use improvement as there was one waiter who basically ignored one side of the pool, even though guests were waiving to him to come over. I ended up having to raise a service request. The main bar and restaurant were lovely, all staff were really attentive and made sure everyone was happy and had everything they needed. I loved the frogs, their singing was really nice to hear, even at night.. 😀 There was one final really lovely touch. I was leaving my room with my cases and headed for the lift, as I walked closer I could see a manager on the phone. When he saw me, he immediately took my cases off me, took them into the lift and helped me down to reception. He thanked me for staying at the hotel and hoped I had enjoyed my stay. I wish I had taken his name so I could thank him. Check out was quick and easy, with the team checking how I was getting to the airport and as I had a car, taking my bags for me. This is a really lovely hotel, i enjoyed my stay immensely and will definitely stay again.

Food at the restaurant not 5 stars quality at all. Poor TV programs choice. Noisy sometimes.

What an exceptional stay in a stunning location!! Every member of staff was friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was as easy and comfortable as possible. Kids 6 &7 had an absolute ball. Food was good and reasonable- breakfast was fantastic! Themed nights each week, we loved the barbecue around the pool for ‘white night’. Room comfortable and clean and a fabulous size. Kids club was brilliant. Huge thanks to Rosa, Bob, Francisco and Lora for making everything even more special! Can’t wait to book for next year!

The hotel charges 10 Euro per night for car park. I would have preferred to pay the room charges 10 euro more and have the parking included as parking on the street is not an option. As it is , it gives feeling of the hotel trying its best to milk its customers. I asked for a knife to be brought to my room and I was told that would cost 7 Euro. Same feeling as above Hotel is a bit tired and in need to be brought up to current time. Nice location especially if you are also a golfer

We are currently staying at this hotel and service has so far been excellent. Room sizes are good for a family of four. Best of all this hotel is very clean. Free shuttle to marbella and back is the icing on the cake. Can't wait to explore the rest of the hotel.

Close to Marbella, the Westin La Quinta Golf Resort & Spa is the best place to stay! It's a luxury hotel in a small paradise with very good service and great amenities. You get all of your needs met here; from having a nice room that looks out over the pool area to getting excellent food and drinks at their restaurants as well as having access to three bars located throughout the resort. The Westin La Quinta employees are by far the most helpful!! From check-in to waiters to golf employees to cleaners, they were wonderfully contributive, and that is what separates 4 and 5 stars. I would also sincerely thank Ms. Paola Waschbusch "Front Office Manager" for her outstanding service and great job ! If you're looking to have a vacation stay with great views of the mountains and the sea, I highly recommend this place! (for anyone looking for some peace of mind while travelling... then this resort might be just what you need). There was nothing I could criticise. First Class ! We went to this hotel because we needed to be close to the place. We did not select the hotel before. We were surprised. It is a very cozy high end place. Has great food, an amazing view, good service. It is part of a golf course and has also a very nice spa attached to it. Carlos the sales manager was very helpful. We are organizing a wedding and he was very committed to give advice. Certainly a place we will come back to.
