Vacation at Ela Excellence resort Belek was a blast! Ela resort Belek is simply wonderful, perfect place for relaxation with your family. I highly recommend this hotel. Rooms, food, entertaiment 10 points. Beautiful hotel, very well maintained and gorgeous grounds and friendly staff. The kids club was amazing probably one of the best in Turkey. I chose this hotel specifically as both my children have food allergies we were given allergy cards however we did not use them the food was labeled and I just used my due diligence. The food was good no complaints. The room was lovely. Negatives There were not enough snack bars around all eating options were sit down. There is fruit and a patisserie however only the fruit was suitable due to my kids food allergies. There was no fruit ice lollies at the pool bar freezer, we could only request vegan I've cream at two restaurants. Which was difficult when my kids wanted ice lollies by the pool. There were no family activities throughout the day, as my daughter did not want to visit the kids club alone. We did visit the kids club with them which was great.

My husband and I visited the Ela Excellence resort with our 3 young boys aged 5 and 1year old twins. When we first arrived we were greeted and taken to our room. We had paid an upgrade for a sea view. Unfortunately, the room was very far away from the main building, restaurants etc. and was on the ground floor so the view was poor. It was a nice sized room but was close to the evening entertainment which is incredibly loud (probably too loud). We had only 1 z bed and a sofa bed for our 3 children. We spent the first night with our twins in bed with us. We had arrived late but were pleasently surprised by the fare on offer in the 24/7 al a carte restaurant. We ordered lamb chops, steak, burgers, soup, pizza etc. We were all very satisfied with the food in this restaurant. The following day the hotel changed our room and it was on 4th floor with better views (although the glass on the balcony was precariously wobbly, which frightened me due to having young children with us). The kids club is out of this world. They have thought of everything. Soft play, lego, toddler rooms, interactive boards, cinema screens, arts and crafts, fire engine, outdoor playground, doctors surgery, dentist, and also an arcade with VR, playstations, basketball. They even have a kids only restaurant that serves lunch and snacks for the children throughout the day. On our 4th night unfortunately my youngest son became very poorly with a high temperature and we called a Dr to the room. They diagnosed an ear infection and prescribed antibiotics and antihistamines all with a hefty price tag. A few days later he developed a blistering rash and when we got home the GP diagnosed Hand Foot and Mouth (no ear infection and more importantly no antibiotics required). We are convinced he caught it in the kids club. The other 2 children also caught the same virus a few days later. The entertainment is ok. On one night we seen a circus at the auditorium that was great. But the live music is far too loud and the children could not stand the level of noise so we couldn't join this most nights. The kids pool is great and our 5 year old loved the slides. Unfortunately the water is freezing cold in the water spray sections and everyone huddles into the 1 x heated pool. Same goes for the larger pools, they are freezing cold except 1 pool that is always overcrowded because of this. The indoor pool in the spa is also heated. The beach is ok. With sunbeds available and waiters to bring drinks. There is a bar on the pier. There is so much food to choose from at Ela Excellence. The buffet is amazing (and we are not buffet people). Always so much choice. Breakfast options are vast, fresh smoothies, fruit, yoghurts, nuts, seeds, eggs, omelette station, pancakes, waffles, croissants and pastries, various breads to choose from, cereals, baby jars. The lunch and evening buffet are great too with fresh salads, fruits and vegetables. Vegan options, meat galore, steaks and lamb chops, pizza,

The staff are welcoming & always ready to help. We are 9 of us altogether, we have someone in-charge to us 24/7 that is ready to accommodate our needs. There are plenty places to eat, drink & hang out. This is place is highly recommended for all ages.

Great food. Excellent experience! As well as the facilities, amazing food, very fun inclusive restaurants and activities, clean pool and beach, amazing rooms, nice and understanding workers and great ambiance and a very fun party at night.

What a dreadful hotel and such a disappointment!! We were on our first family holiday with my husband our daughter & his 2 children (my step children) we booked 2 x rooms with adjoining door. I selected this hotel for this reason as we do not want the children alone or to leave them but also to have some time with my husband on our 7 x night holiday. On check-in this was not allocated we had been given 2 x rooms with no adjoining door on floor 4 and floor 5. I really pleaded to try and help as the hotel was definitely not full. But as I was not Russian or Turkish I was ushered away "nothing we can do unless you pay more" We went to the rooms, the children went for a shower after a long day travelling and the shower only had scolding hot water. So they all came to the other room, the shower leaked through the wall to create a massive leak on the bedroom floor. I went back to reception and they were just so unhelpful and we had an engineer come to the room with my baby girl trying to sleep at 9pm to look at the shower and leak. They did not fix it so we had to leave it and nobody could shower - ridiculous. We were moved the next day to an 'upgrade" as they called this - it was a nicer view of the ocean but the noise overnight from the bar was loud and blaring until at least 12:00 midnight so the children couldn't sleep. The show was on at 21:30 every other night - very ate for children and not every night?! The Everland kids club - the staff barely speak English and don't want to be there - they just stand around, and the activities are awful the children did not want to be there. Why would they when they can't understand anyone? Everything was in Turkish all the books etc. The food was equally poor - we ate in the buffet for most meals as we couldn't believe the charge to use the a la carte restaurants when they were so bad - we tried the Mexican and it was virtually inedible. The buffet had flies in it - and the kids section was really bad. All the wines are Turkish and there is only 3 they let you choose from our there is a massive charge for a bottle - not a glass of any other wine you may like (whispering angel/savignon etc) There are no wines/spirits in the mini bar so the claims (the mini bar is always stocked) is basically water and fizzy drinks. The hotel floors are SO NOISY at night - even at 1am we had children screaming and Russians shouting and banging on doors it was incredibly scary and as myself and my husband were in different rooms I didn't sleep properly for 7 nights - I am so glad to be home and will never be back to Turkey! My friend has just been to the Rixos Premium and said it was marvellous - this is the same price as Ela and includes most A la carte!
