타지 베칼 리조트 & 스파, 케랄라(Taj Bekal Resort & Spa, Kerala)

A nice idyllic holiday place. Lovely rooms with a swing bed in the balcony .. nice airy rooms . Lovely all Inclusive resort .. with a beach and backwaters . Taj hospitality very good as usual . Were given an early Check in since we reached by 10 am from Mumbai . Special mention of the Sadhya- traditional Kerela banana leaf meal we had plus the free high tea available near the poolside everyday .. lovely stay

Our stay at Taj Bekal was amazing. The location of the resort is just superb, it is not too far from the city and at the same time it offers a quiet and peaceful stay. The backwaters and the access to the beach is great! We did not explore the activities much, though they offer a good set. Bekal Fort is just 10 minutes drive and it offers stunning views, it is a must visit place.

A trip to Bekal. It was a 3nights 4 days trip. We started from mumbai with Air India direct flight to ***galore which was approximately 90 min. We had pre booked the hotel taxi which is about 2 hrs drive to Taj Bekal Resort. Chauffeur Mr.PRASHANTH was very friendly & informative. As we reached the Resort we had a warm welcome, it was an express check in. We had book Premium Villa with Courtyard and Plunge Pool King Bed which was spacious. Plunge pool was not that great need the renovation but , the swing had all the joy ,great time in bathtub with hot water as it was raining heavily. There is no privacy too pool, swing & bat tub as it all connected to lawn to the other side i.e. lawn facing back water. Architecture is decent has maintained a good height which gives it very grand look. Resort is widely connected to back water also it was so quiet that we were able to hear the sea waves sound clearly. Toilets & bath area is good with all Forest Essence cosmetics & hygiene Maintained by the house keeping. Food:The Food option were less as they have only two restaurants & one bar. We had buffet for dinner but the options were very less. The breakfast has also a same problem there were ***y repeated options. Being a brand TAJ this was not expected, *though quality of the food is good there is no doubt in it* . Personal attention was been giving by the restaurant staff ( Back water cafe), special thanks to Tanuja and Yashoda. In room dining was good we had ordered pizza that was very freshly prepared & warm served , Chicken tandoor tikka which was supposed to be served with salad dressing, was served with Sprouts and that too at night which I didn’t like at all. Hi-tea is the very good event they have every evening. They had presented all the local food Spa: We had pre booked the slots for aroma therepy Threapist RUTH was good with the pressure we required. The spa rooms are very big & carm. we enjoyed it. The ***aging staff is good, very helpful all the time ,Buggy service is good no more waiting . The time of check out the the billing was ready & smooth check out they gave us the momentum as token off remembers. Had a great loving stay

The resort itself is awesome, landscapes are great. But the Taj'ness is missing, somehow we didn't get the same customer service we expect from Taj, looks like Marriott has taken over in that depar**ent, Marriott is just superb. The smiles we got was fake, didn't know who the ***ager was, he never introduced himself/herself. Restaurant was below average, given there's not a whole lot to do in Bekal, that was a real dissatisfier. Overall I don't think I am recommending to anyone nor am I going back.

We had a great time at Taj Bekal,the staff was very supportive special thanks to Mr Amit and team who helped us in great way.We were upgraded to Villa..The buffet spread was great too. . Overall the experience was great and we made good memories ☺️

Resort with beautifully-kept grounds. The plunge-pool villas are outstanding - the rooms are comfortable and well-designed and appointed, with large sliding interior doors opening up to a long, natural-light filled bathroom. The outside patio is very private, but does not feel closed-in at all - it offers a stand alone canopy-covered bathtub, an open-air shower, an oversized swing lounger, and of course, an extra-large plunge pool. Only comment for improvement is that a better upkeeping of some of the wall trims and fixture details would really take these rooms and the whole experience to the next level. The resort pool is absolutely gorgeous - perched over the lawns, surrounded by greenery, good for swimming, featuring a separate area for kids to swim/play. The beach, however beautiful and clean, is not suitable for swimming and does have any infrastructure, like sun loungers. Addressing the beach erosion issue that maybe preventing it from being swimmable would definitely drive this property to the next level, Highly recommend the kayaking in the hotel’s own backwater space - safe, very tranquil and gives an idea of the natural beauty of the backwaters flora and fauna (a lot of birds!). Spa is great, with local therapies and competent service. Gym is reasonably appointed and its best feature is that it opens up to the green outdoor spaces and as a result, the working out area is filled with natural light, which is great when working out. Beach restaurant serves unpretentious, local, quality food. Breakfast and all-day dinning are adequate (although the space at the back feels out of place for a five-star resort). Front desk welcoming and overall service are all great.

Awesome place to be with family and friends. Fantastic location and you will enjoy everything in the resort. Perfect holiday destination to relax with clean beaches and lovely swimming pools. Wonderful and spacious rooms. Great food. Just experience it.

Nice Scenic, Beautiful , peaceful property by the sea side . It also has a back water view. staff is good , rooms are good , senior people at the property are very nice. food is fine . Good for a short break. There are places around to see. recommended for couples and families.

It was a short family trip with a 10-month old kid. As soon as we reached Taj Bekal, everything was taken care of. The people were welcoming. We felt at home from the very first minute. The staff happily accompanied us to the dining hall. The club carts are just a call away, to take you through the beautiful resort and also the beach. Beach has a private access; neat and clean. Swimming was not allowed though, because of high tide. Food was delicious. Complimentary breakfast spread was lavish and sumptuous. Can’t wait to go back again. Cheers!
